I don't smoke. Well, sometimes I do, Lucky Strike, sometimes the green mint one, tastes odd.

Why is it that practically everyone smokes in Asian movies?

I've never smoked and, if I can help it, never will. Don't really see anything in it apart from making your insides go all funny. A lot the people I know that do it seem to have started from 'peer pressure' or something, but fortunately I don't have friends like that.

I don't mind people smoking around me, as long as its not like 50 people in the same room or someone blowing it right into my face or something. Smoking's banned in public places over here anyway, so it's not really a problem anyway.

    Perv, why do you care?
Oh Lordy! The smell of a smoker's car is one of the worst things that cause me to gag.

  12. I find I'm being kind of the same way with the inhalers I bought. I'll only have maybe half a dozen drags at a time, but more frequently. It does seem to work though. I only had about 3 or 4 real cigarettes yesterday evening where I'd normally have at least twice that, so, that's good, and bodes well for if I ever do manage to get my hands on an E-cig kit.

I'm sure there are probably a few mom 'n pop brick and mortar shops that carry some brand of E-cig, but it seems like it's still niche market enough that no chains will, and it's probably impossible to find which brick and mortar stores do sell any. I do know BluCigs do have a reseller program though.

I've got a friend with family in VT though, so I may at some point see if I can get some shipped to them and have them forward the package to me.

There aren't really many reasons to start other than peer pressure or a sense of self-loathing. Neither of which are respectable or honourable, it just makes smokers look weak willed. That's something I'd like to stay away from.

Smoking is like everything else, it needs moderation. When, you start to light your new cigarette with the butt of the old one, that's bad.

You do realize cigs in moderation will only kill you slower, right? Smoking isn't good for you...period.

I love how cigarette companies and smokers in general try to justify smoking. Its all a lie and I wish people would realize it.

I smoke. I know its bad and there is no benefits to it only negatives. I started smoking I guess out of a sense of rebeliousness, no peer pressure what so ever. I can remember one teacher saying that she tried smoking and hated it stating it was the horriblest thing she had ever tasted. I thought "I wanna test that" I then got a nicotine high, loved it and so smoked more and became addicted.

As bad as it sounds but it's true. I currently enjoy smoking; I see it as more social, many people I have met has been due to smoking and as I have to smoke outside it gives me time to think. When I am really angry and feel I need to smoke, the fact I am outside by myself and can think clearly must calm me down for than the cigarette.

I did see a news article on 'The Onion' stating Malbro (sp) were bringing out an eco pack which helped the enviroment by killing users over time. It made me laugh and in some ways there is a point, if people didn't smoke then there would be more people causing ore pressure on the planet. Although there are ten times as many counter arguements to that one point, such as unessicarily putting more pressure on the health care industry and taking resources that could be used elsewhere.

Either way I won't be stopping anytime soon. I don't intend to and don't want to so there is no point until I want to.

So I suppose merely... talking to people, and spending some time alone wouldn't have sufficed? I manage both of those things without looking like my face is on fire :p
