Maybe if they did a D-pad thing aswell as drawing shapes, they would entice other uncertain customers such as myself. I would then consider trying the shape drawing and may perhaps get used to it; instead off blowing off the game completely.
I can agree, I know that I'll buy either way because we do have a release date. Tony hawk is more than likely to come out later than skate it, so playing skate it will be a good game til tony hawk comes out.
I just purchased THPS2. I will get this one without hesitation as well. If I can create my own skatepark, I will lose my mind.
I am waiting for this, I destroyed THPS2 when I was 17 and I am not interested in playing it again. This game seems to be a portable version of the game "Skate".
I don't think Ill be able to enjoy this game without a d-pad. I imagine the tilt control being extremely hard to use. I really hope they add different control options including a d-pad or even just left and right arrows. The gesture system for doing tricks is awesome though, I just hope a some turning buttons are thrown on the screen somewhere in an alternate control scheme.
i just played THPS2 and i really am enjoying it it got faster pace than Skater Nation and i like the controls with this game,i think this looks better than THPS2 maybe because this is a modern game unlike THPS2 which is an older game but i'm doubtful with the controls, tilting ould be hard to use and gesture-based trick trigger for me is more of a luck side than skill side these are just for me,those are from a non-skater and non-skating gamer
I think ill find it alot easier wil the tilt controls as you will be able to see more of the screen since you wont need to use both thumbs on the screen at the same time, and it will make the controls simpler and easier in my opinion, and the game its self seem to me like it will be more realistic then the other skate games, while all the other skate game are all arcade like and unrealistic, this game seem like it will be a real proper skate game, which we havnt seem yet on the app store
i join the others in saying that this is not the kind of game for tilt controls. they seem really awkward.
