ya no wonder it hasn't been mentioned on the show. I won't be downloading it.
btw. do you know what "premium" subscription means? I have a 2 year subscription with 1 radio. I can listen online but I don't know if that means I would be able to use the app if they ever do add H100 & 101.

Sirius drops the ball again. If that $3 price increase for online listening won't chase off subscribers, maybe this will.

The sirius/xm app is flawless. I already pay for the $2.99/month internet streaming in addition to the $13/month in my car, so not only is this app free, but it's basically another listening device that you can take anywhere for free. I was streaming sirius straight into my friend's car yesterday.

I don't care about stern or listening to sports on the radio. Ignore the 1 star review complaints about those items, and this is a 5 star app.

There is no price increase here. The $3/month premium online listening service has been around for years. If you already subscribe to the $3 premium internet service, this is included. If not, then you would need to subscribe.

This is nothing new - same way it's been for years.

You've likely been listening to the free low-quality stream included with your regular subscription. This program does NOT stream the low-quality stream.

    Do your homework.

Yes, I know killer. I've been listening online for years. They are phasing out the low quality stream and are forcing users to pay the additional $3 per month for the "high quality" stream. For a limited time, they gave subscribers the opportunity to avoid the additional fee if you signed a 2 year contract. Who wants a 2 year contract with a company teetering on the verge of bankruptcy? This went down several months ago and has nothing to do with the iphone app.

Who cares about high quality streams if you only listen to talk anyways? Talk and sports is the only worthwhile content Sirius has... Pandora/Last.fm/Slacker are better for music... and also free.

The app now has almost 13,000 review on itunes with an average of 2 stars. If you really think it is "flawless" you are certainly in the minority.

Just got an email from Sirius... they are raising rates again.

That is going to bring my bill to almost $20 per month... (1 radio with online listening) I'm really starting to this it isn't worth it.
