    My guess:

    ------Apple's Headquarters, App Review Unit------

Reviewers 1-40: Current Action: Sitting playing Shrek Kart, Eliminate, and other games.
    Reviewers 3, 6, 7: Current Action: Sleeping.
Reviewer 37: Current Action: Thinking, "Hmm.. Shouldn't we approve Shrek Kart? Oh, we'll wait a bit, why not just keep getting paid to play this fun game?"
Reviewer 26: Current Action: Eating Pie.
Reviewer 19: Current Action: Hand hovering over mouse to approve Shrek Kart and Eliminate, then realizes it's time to go from work.

    :/

    No actually its more like:
r1 - psst, the manager is gone, let's go smoke and i'll show you my new sound system in my civic

r2 - yeah, they don't pay us enough to work ALL day.

r3 - But Shrek cart needs approval, it's Gameloft dude...

r2 - I'm sick of playing games, let the managers do it themselves if they want it out so bad. All those idiots waiting for it can wait - it won't kill them if it doesn't come out for a few more weeks.

r1 - yeah, screw em. Lets go.

I have been in different businesses that operated somewhat like this.

I HIGHLY doubt the reviewers are having fun playing video games. When you HAVE to do something, it becomes much more of a chore...except being a porn star maybe?

Has Gameloft even submitted it yet?! I wonder what happened. This game is nr. 1 on my wishlist.

Guys, I think Shrek will be released really, really soon. Maybe this weekend or next week. Sites dedicated to the App Store over in Europe are starting to pop up with brief overviews of the game including new screenshots. I think the pricing will be on par with Gameloft titles like Sandstorm & Dungeon Hunter, probably 4.99 - 6.99.

When they where suppose too come out with Rock tour 2 I asked them if it was going to be released and they said we can not tell you that. Then about 2 months later it was released out of no where. The small guys seem too be more willing to talk about there games. I think that is a good thing they should.

Ya I'm slowly losing interest too. Its a shame cuz I was really looking forward to this game, LAST MONTH! Guess I'll just get my kart racing fix from Cocoto Kart Online (which only cost me$0.99 :))

Shrek was and will probably be my most favourite 3D cartoon, first and second were practically flawless, third wasn't that great.
I wish the graphics in this game was better though, it doesn't seem gameloft-quality to me...

I still think we may see it. When they did guitar rock tour 2 they gave a release date but it did not aapear. I wrote them and like I said they said they could not give me any information and then about a month a 2 later it just appeared. They have too make Christmas sales too. They could be saving some of the good games so they meet what they need too make for Christmas. They have too make money.

Well, I think every PIXAR movie owns Shrek by far. I only watched a part of the first Shrek movie. Nontheless I look forward to this fun racer, as the Shrek universe has some interesting characters, which is inevitable for a good kart racer.
It's nothing strange that the graphics of a kart racer aren't that good as the graphics of a jump'n run, for example, because the kart racer consists of several moving objects on one screen and still needs to run smooth and in real time, even when in online mode.
Just compare Super Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart Wii, in case of graphics the latter can't keep up.
I'm still looking forward to Shrek Kart, even if Cocoto Kart online does a great job for the moment.
