Arthur, no offense...but with every post you make, you're losing more and more customers. You don't have to respond to this. In fact, don't...'coz I certainly have nothing more to say here.
I speak up about what I think is the right thing to do whether or not it affects me. I honestly do the same thing with the guy being a jerk to a cashier because he's being impatient. What's the rush? It's really nothing personal against you, but when you're constantly defending yourself, maybe it's time to consider the way you do things.
As a junior indie developer I learnt alot from this thread... Anyway, I downloaded the game and is happy playing it on my iPad. : )
Maybe you have right. This discussion leads to nowhere and becomes more off topic. My intention was only to say that we never wanted to disappoint people. If so, we are sorry about that.
Guys, if you noticed ads in the game after the update please contact us via [email protected] This shouldn’t happen. So far we received only few feedbacks like this. It’s unique situation and we will consider every case individual. Please do not believe people who simply have fun and change the reality into something different. That’s why we are here. We don’t want to escape from the responsibility and wasn’t our intention to trick anybody.
you are the one, who is NOT in touch with reality. And being so cocky, talking like this to existing and possible buyers, just shows it even more. your company's customer relations should be handled by someone professional ,not you. i'm sure there is better candidates in Poland.
That comment right there just made me lose all respect for your company Artur. I am really sorry but that was a potential customer you just flipped off. Obviously if he is reading these threads, has taken the time to formulate a thought and a post, then POSSIBLY he would be considering your games. But surely not now. You need to learn customer service. Time and time again I see your posts as aggressive, rude, or "funny," and usually evading the issues. If that happened in a store I frequent, I would not go there again. Same thing here - my thought going away from this is now - man those Infinite Dreams guys are rude, stay away.
I wonder why few people can offend the developer and why developer can’t fight with unpleasant opinions which are not true? I simply ask to not panic and do not suggest the wrong opinions.
Because you are on a different plane than the customer. You are the seller. You are the one that is supposed to stay composed and professional. This isn't a game you are playing here with the forums. This is supposed to be PR. And last I heard, people that deal in PR are clear, concise, and professional. Perhaps I am seeing some language or cultural barrier here. Perhaps your English is not as good as it needs to be to be the front man for your company. (no offense) Maybe it was better when you flat out ignored everyone. At least it made them mad for a different reason other than your rudeness.
I respect other people opinions, especially people like you but please dont take me the right to defend my company. Its easy to write I lose all respect but hey we are here, we are ready to talk and publish the answers. We are good if we giveaway promo codes, t-shirts or free games but we are bad if we dont agree with wrong opinions? Everybody can laugh from us but I cant ask why? I can also copy and paste rude quotes but this will nothing change in the topic.
I agree this is not a game. Making PR here? What for? To camouflage the reality? This forum is great place to talk with gamers, simple language is enough. If there is a problem we want to solve it. Like I said before there wasnt our intention to trick anybody.
Alright this post just shows that it is clearly a language AND cultural barrier that is causing this. Artur, you guys would do well by hiring a native English speaker as your PR person. No one is taking away the right to defend your company but what we are ALL saying you need to be respectful when you do. Instead of - you don't even own our games what do you care - you could say something like - I am sorry you don't own our games yet, perhaps there is something we can say to change your mind. But now, it seems the damage is done. You have offended so many people (and please don't answer me with - well they offended me first cuz that makes you sound 5 years old) here that you might not get another chance with them. This game for example - if you wanted to add ads, then make a totally free version and leave the paying customers alone. Add IAP to it, who cares, then the people that bought the game would not be so mad. And when some feature gets added and devs say - oh but if you have played it before a certain day that won't happen to you - never ends well. Take Astro Ranch for example. What a debacle that was. Anyway, you are definitely free to do with your company as you wish. I am just saying there were probably better choices to make when change and updating a game. This way was not a way to earn friends and new customer. Instead it seems it alienated the ones you had.
As entertaining as this thread has been, I think it's time to put an end to it. This discussion is getting us absolutely nowhere. I think NEG has summed up the problem from a consumer standpoint. There's an obvious cultural and language barrier. As a customer, there really is no acceptable resolution here unless ID is going to restore the game to it's original state and add a second, free version of the game to the store. Can a mod please close this thread? This is apparently not a sale, but a permanent price change. As such, this discussion does not deserve a thread in this forum. Since there is already an official thread in both the iPhone and iPad forums, I think this discussion should be continued there. Thanks!
