i wish this had some sort of multiplayer... like say undead players against human players? Anything will do, since the graphics look good, there are guns and stuff and environments look great.
It's not possible, the appstore will be closed on december 23rd through the 28 http://www.maclife.com/article/news/itunes_connect_taking_extended_holiday_december_2328 From pocketgamer's preview: Shadow Guardian will be available for iPhone and iPod touch at the beginning of next year.
With so many games coming out soon, I think I'm gonna hold off on this one for a while until the price drops. I'm more excited for Nova 2, Real Racing 2, Aralon, Eternal Legacy, Dungeon Hunter 2... Aagh so many games! I'm gonna go broke.
According to Pocket Gamer, Dungeon Hunter 2 is coming out this month. I would expect Dungeon Hunter 2, NOVA 2, and Asphalt 6 before Christmas. The other three games, including this, after Christmas.
Ah, makes sense. End 2010 with a bunch of sequels, build up the hype for next years releases, and BOOM! Out comes three brand new games.
From Slide To Play- Shadow Guardian hits the App Store later this month. I know I seen it elsewhere too but can't remember, but you never truly know when an app is going to come out.
Joystiq as well: http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/02/gameloft-announces-nova-2-and-the-uncharted-inspired-shadow-guar/ "Mobile games publisher Gameloft is showing no signs of slowing down. The company announced its upcoming slate of iOS games at a press conference in Paris today, including sequels to some of the company's most successful properties, such as Asphalt 6: Adrenaline and NOVA 2, a follow-up to the company's Halo-inspired portable FPS. NOVA 2 adds new weapons and new enemies (with jetpacks!) and will offer multiplayer. Not only does it continue the story of the first game, but will reward players of the original with bonus XP. Perhaps of most interesting title was Gameloft's new IP, Shadow Guardian (pictured above). In typical Gameloft fashion, Shadow Guardian bears more than a little resemblance to other popular console games, notably Uncharted and Tomb Raider: You travel through a variety of locations, from temples to cities, climbing and leaping through the environment in search of treasure. In addition to the requisite puzzle-solving, you'll also be able to shoot your way through waves of enemies, taking cover, blind-firing, and rushing in for melee kills. Yes, you've seen all of this before -- but have you seen it running on an iPhone? All of these games should be available later this month, "before Christmas."
Excerpts from Slide to Play: http://www.slidetoplay.com/story/shadow-guardian-hands-on-preview "The important thing is that by the end of the month, the App Store will have one incredibly polished 3D platformer with intense shootouts in exotic locations." "Shadow Guardian hits the App Store later this month."
Yeah from slidetoplay: NOVA 2, Shadow Guardian, and Asphalt 6 will all be out in December. Asphalt 6 will probably come out first. StarFront, Eternal Legacy, and Dungeon Hunter will all come out in January. So dungeon hunter won't be released this year. I get the feeling they've announced this one too soon. I think we're looking at nova 2 next week then asphalt 6 and after the little break from the appstore shadow guardian the 30th
In a Gameloft Video Press Event (which I caught just a few minutes at the end), the developer team said they'd try to get it out before the end of the month. There's still some bug fixes and other flaws that need treating.
Again though, Pocket Gamer did previews of all Gameloft games and according to them, Dungeon Hunter 2 is coming out in December and Shadow Guardian is coming out in January. Dungeon Hunter 2, NOVA 2, and Asphalt 6 are coming out this month.
