It turned out they got the name wrong. It's actually "Uncharted 3: Escape drom the sueers"

Also, I bet this will have atleast one mission where you're in a car sitting at an MG! :D

I really really hope that they also put in the sliding-down-something part and then jump when barrier mechanic from Avatar, Spiderman etc. :)

I owned a Ps3 once, a long time ago. The overall gaming experience is far superior on the 360, so I sold my Ps3 and haven't looked back since. The Ps3 may technically have more power under the hood, but it was Xbox Live and the achievement system that sealed the deal for me.

Short of it is that, although of course I have heard of Uncharted before, I have never actually played it. I'm think that there are a lot of people in the same boat as me, since Uncharted is a Ps3 exclusive. This was a good idea for Gameloft, because although it may be a clone, to many people it's not going to feel like a clone because a large percentage of gamers have never even played Uncharted before.

As far as the on-rail sequence, I only have one thing to say

    RPG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you forget though that xbox, ps3's, psp's etc. are all DESIGNED for gaming. The iPhone is just a phone. So to have games like these on your PHONE, is just amazing. Thats what Im trying to say. Of course the phone cant handle a major console game. So the big companies dont even bother. Instead, creators like Gameloft try to bring it as close as possible. Yeah its gonna be a run down version....but its better then not having anything at all. Gameloft doesnt just make run down clones for fun. They do it because they know people want these types of games on their phones. And with every game, they push the technical limits of the iPhone...and they get better and better

Let's make the difference between casual games and full featured games. Look on the PSP or DS, gaming with buttons and big budget is great.

Portable gaming is great, having an iPhone with games on it is great. Having a PSP with buttons and full-featured games with high production values is SUPERIOR.

Casual games is a much different story, you'll find the best match3 on iPhone, line drawing games, dual stick shooters are better on the iPhone, PSP only one stick not so good on shooters. Cut the Rope, Angry Birds, the success story of small casual games with high production value goes on and on on the iPhone, the future is VERY bright.

I can really recommend to buy a PSP for full featured games, I am very happy with my iPhones casual games, but once I played the GTA games on the PSP I laughed about the GangStar games, this could go on and on with full-featured games. God of War PSP, Little Big Planet, Midnight Club etc.

Coming again and again with PS3 & 360 is a bit odd argument, full-featured games on PSP and DS with buttons and real analog stick blows iPhone away.

Not always. I've seen plenty of iPhone games that have better graphics, controls and gameplay than any PSP game. Modern Combat 2 is a good example. The graphics for a start are better than anything I've seen on the PSP. The gameplay is awesome with 10 player online multiplayer with levels, perks, unlockable weapons etc, and perhaps most importantly, the controls work well. FPS games on the PSP are a joke. You can't properly control a FPS game with a tiny analogue stick and 4 face buttons to look. Same applies for many 3rd person games. Racing and flight games also control much better on the iPhone thanks to the accelerometer/gyroscope. Buttons are overrated, IMO. I've managed to get used to the touchscreen and I wouldn't want to swap it for buttons.
I know it's all a matter of opinion. But there's mine. My PSP has been collecting dust ever since I got my iPhone.

Way to go gameloft. Now all you need to do is make a clone of god of war, resident evil, grand theft auto, madden and you will be fine......WAIT,TO LATE...;););););)

seems like gameloft is starting to use more lighting and shadow effects. I'll have an eye with this one.

btw, just be happy that gameloft try to reach out those gamers who doesn't posses those goddess consoles. I'm thankful cause I don't have any hardcore gaming consoles yet I'm a hardcore gamer. (Flame shield on)

Let everyone be excited on the holiday with a good smile playing those upcoming games. Peace to toucharcade and to the whole world!.

The level of geometry detail seems to be improving too like in that screenshot of the city along with better texture quality. Although for a game like this, the critical part will be the animation engine along with a good adventure story and voice acting.
