Also some "Sacrifice X life to use" card with extra good stats. Also a "sacrifice X allys and your hero gains X life" or a "sacrifice 1 ally and draw X card(s)
do you mean something like that if you have 1 [insert card name here] on the field, its att value is 3. If 2 [insert card name here] is on the field their att is 6. And if you have 3 on field its strength is 9. Those cards Are awesome, I agree.
I like cards that let u reuse cards that you or your opponent has played. Either allies or other support cards
Yeah, like that, and cards whose abilities somewhat play on to others abilities in the same group. Just an example but say one creature has the ability to inflict X damage onto the opponent when one of their creature attacks, and then have a card that forces the opponent to attack atleast once.
I think a card game like Yu-gi -oh would be fine. I hate everything about it but the gameplay mechanics.
Any hint about when open beta/ Gameplay video will come? Btw, other cards that Are cool Are direct damage cards (cant be stopped, not Even with block cards) enemy control cards where you take over an enemy ally for a few turns. Rise dead cards where you can return dead allys to the game again.
Yeah, I'd like to admit from the outset that some of these are ripped from Yu-Gi-Oh and MTG. Still, I think they'd fit well here: 1. Destroy a creature and inflict it's power as direct damage to both players. (similar to Ring of Destruction from Yu-Gi-Oh) 2. Any number of search cards (search your deck for however many cards, put them in your hand, or search your deck for however many cards and let your opponent choose one to add to your hand--the others go to discard pile) 3. Sacrifice a creature to this card, deal damage to opponent equal to that card's mana cost (see Bosh, Iron Golem from MTG) 4. Indestructable creature -- sacrifice a land (or mana resource, or whatever) each turn; if you have none, destroy this card and deal X damage to yourself 5. Walls (this card can ONLY defend) 6. For each creature this creature destroys, increase its power and health by 1 (or 2, if you wanted to make a rare version) 7. If you play this card as a mana resource card, play it face up instead. For [some mana cost], this mana resource may become a creature with X/Y power and health until the end of the turn. (see Stalking Stones from MTG) More to come, as I dig my collections out and rifle through them to find the more interesting choices. Take some, none, or all as you see fit!
Ring of destruction is banned for a reason besides. Here you'd destroy an ally to inflict damage on both heroes Same would happen
RoD was banned because they made it too good, but it wasn't the "destroy this and inflict it on both players" aspect that made that card overpowered. That mechanic isn't really overpowered in my opinion. What made RoD too[I/] good was as that it was that mechanic on a trap card, meaning it could be used on either player's turn, at any time, as a counter, a field-clearer, an attack negater, etc.etc.etc. Having THAT many effects in one card is the kinda thing that gets cards banned. Besides, I wasn't after recreating a card from one game in another game. It was the mechanics I wanted to give Kyle. That particular effect is a cool mechanic that can even be put into a single creature to cut down on any over-usefulness it might have: picture card art depicting a goblin strapped with dynamite with an effect that reads "sacrifice this creature to deal it's power to both heroes."
art is amazing but i gotta agree with sirdarkened...poster art is great for promo but will my characters look like that in game-play (and not just cut scenes)?
