First-off: Why are you posting this in the JB section?

    1] Create a backup
2] Connect your new Touch, transfer purchases
    3] Restore from backup

No repurchases required. You can sync the new iPod with your old itunes account.

Also you wont lose any progress. Just make sure you backup the old iPod first and then set up the new iPod with the old Backup. iTunes will ask you if you want to set it up as a new iPod or restore it with an old backup. Chose the "restore" option and you should be fine :)

When it does it automatically its the same thing. So after its finished backing up, connect your new Touch, and choose to restore from backup.

IMNS, you're having way too much fun :p
