Is this going to have iCloud or something to transfer game saves? It has Game Center - will it be through that?

Your game save and ability to sync saves between devices are tied to your Gamecenter account.

Also check out the official Seabeard Soft Launch thread to provide feedback! I believe the good folks at Hand Circus are watching over the thread right now.

I've been playing this for a few hours and all I want to say is please, please, please either give us the option to purchase the full game and get rid of timers, or increase the amount of energy/decrease the amount of time it takes to refill. Or even add the option to watch an ad or two to refill the energy.

This game is awesome and I can see myself playing it a lot, which is why I would like to play it for longer than 5-8 minutes before I have to wait 1 1/2 hours to play again.

I would be happy to pay for a full version if it meant being able to play it without, or with less ridiculous timers.

I'm spending more time being annoyed about this than actually enjoying the game.

I'm looking forward to this game, but I don't like it when people say it's "free" free to me these days is free to play, meaning you can only go so far without paying a single dime, creating artificial barriers to make you pay to unlock them. Hearthstone is the only free to play game that truly feels free to me, and I'm a bit skeptical with how the f2p model here will work on trying to get you to pay to play more. I would much rather pay 20 dollars once for a game without a bunch of in app purchases. I actually payed 40+ dollars for fantasy life on the 3ds. The lack of these f2p games and just getting a full experience is one of the reasons why I'll continue to own a portable handheld.

Yes, I agree with the preceding comments, please give us an option to remove the timers and this will be one of the best games of the year.

98% of free games suck, and it sounds like this one isn't the 2%. Every freemium game should give the option to unlock the entire game for $2.99-4.99, if that's not an option I won't even bother downloading it for free.

Sad to see such potential be thrown away and a freemium model.

Why don't you write this a in the soft launch thread so the devs can see? Though I doubt they're listening to anybody sigh :(

I get what you're saying but wouldn't that defeat the purpose of getting the 5 percent of the userbase that actually spend money on this? I don't play clash of clans but I'm aware that some people spend thousands of dollars a month on this and that's why there isn't an option to spend x amount of dollars to get everything. I say just charge 10 dollars for this and the userbase for IOS alone would make more money than a 40 dollar 3DS game.

Not worth put it this way you know sims freeplay how they nickel and dime you to play and enjoy the game... which you cant .. this game is the same and after playing for a while I do not like it not just cause its locked to wifi only .... but the quests require jumping around islands which require energy .. god sake make a full 10$ game like oceanhorn with no IAP!!!! people need to stop this freemium garbage well I can say sim city buildit not too bad just alot of waiting but this... this is a mockery.. its like there laughing at those who actually want to sit down on a mobile and play a game longer then uh lets see 5 min :mad::mad::mad::mad: some people maybe this is there only gaming device.. and devs like this just make free games look like garbage .. so when a good freemium game comes nobody will try cause of these guys ... I paid 10$ for oceanhorn, I would pay 10$ for this game with no energy or IAP crap .. They won't do that they want to nickel dime everyone they can ... soft launch won't help at all!!!! Make two version one freemium on paid 10$ all unlock play for fun no energy no IAP just earning everything .. nope I do not see these devs doing that ....:mad::mad:

Pardon my grammer I am terrible at it ..

This is totally channeling a "Legend of Zelda: Windwaker" and I love it. The graphics, the animations, the boats. I'm sure there are many differences in game play, besides being on mobile, but I am getting real Windwaker vibe from this. Really cool looking, hope the posts about the F2P model problems aren't true.

I'm really enjoying the game so far, even with the f2p stuff. Has anybody else encountered a bug, though, where someone who you need to turn a quest in with disappears? I smuggled a package and the person I need to tell about it is gone. The marker points me to his island, he's just not there.

EDIT: The soft launch thread is probably the best place for this, so I'll post it there.

I understand the person posting about passing it up because wifi is needed

Though some people Just do not understand ...!!! asking stuff that if you actually think about it makes alot of sense but then again everyone thinks everyone else is rich or has privileges to full wifi.. or a great life just because they own a iOS :mad::mad:
WELL your wrong! and it sucks games like this ruin it for these people ...!!!!
I have a friend in this issue she has a iOS device that she got as a gift....
her parents allow wifi on her PC Laptop only because of issues .. so she gets her games on iTunes then transfers them to her iOS...
Sh finds out about a game she likes and asks if I am able to get it to see if it has wifi needed and I do that with many .. Seabeard SimCity Buildit Castaway and many others if they need constant wifi I tell her no don't bother and she goes looking for others only one made it out of this months batch she asked .. SimCity Build it but I told her to wait on that one cause it could lock to wifi going worldwide ....
(mind you she looks at these games online forums etc see's pictures looks like a offline game I get asked to try it ..)

Devs need to be made by Apple to allow a offline mode and online so its not required..
if its iAP then server side it ...
if its not that then to me its just used so they can control the game like Simsfreeplay does ... takes out stuff in game WHEN THEY WANT TO .. bye bye quest you just spent weeks trying to earn up too .. I hate wifi games myself but I have a eh slightly stable wifi .. there are days Idon't play wifi games cause I can't then THESE types just get shoved in the back burner they care about themselves all these wifi only games .. that is just my opinion and many people are missing out cause of there ways ..

This game had a lot of potential, but the freemium model ruined it. Played it for a week when it came out, but consisted of too much bullshit. A shame.
