I have a couple of new thrillers I am dying to read, but I can't stop playing! This is a mélange I absolutely love. It's really fun, and beautiful to look at. And it has what might be the best tutorial I've encountered. Gonna be a late night for me, I think. lishkaal2 New Member Jan 29, 2015 4 0 0 http://www.runespell.com #7 lishkaal2, Jan 29, 2015 Thanks for your fast feedback Hello guys, It is great to see your replies about Runespell Overture showing up at the Touch Arcade forum. We are incredibly happy with the remastered port that was created in cooperation with LittleChicken in the Netherlands. FYI: There will definitely be more Poker RPG in future. Please send an email to infoATmysticbox.com and we will add you to your early tester list. I will be following this thread the coming time, so if you have any questions regarding the game, please do not hesitate to ask and I will try to answer. Went to the AppStore to see if there was one available on the developer's page, and there was none. Only a support page with no media. Disappointing. Dragan Well-Known Member Aug 21, 2014 365 7 18 Belgium #9 Dragan, Jan 29, 2015 The game seems my cup of tea but the reviews for the pc version don't sound that great. Are the major criticisms in the game tackled in the 'remastered' version for the ipad or is it exactly the same as on pc? badmanj Well-Known Member Mar 16, 2009 1,886 24 38 Software developer Reading, England http://www.underground-collective.com #10 badmanj, Jan 29, 2015 This is a great game, however I played as far as meeting the big guy in the camp and turned the app off, when I restarted it had no 'continue' option, only 'new game' - so it seems I have to start all over. Going to shelve this game until I know my progress will be saved properly. Dragan Well-Known Member Aug 21, 2014 365 7 18 Belgium #11 Dragan, Jan 29, 2015 Would very much appreciate an answer from the devs on this one as well. badmanj Well-Known Member Mar 16, 2009 1,886 24 38 Software developer Reading, England http://www.underground-collective.com #12 badmanj, Jan 29, 2015 Actually I played again (from the start) and it turns out there's the option to 'Save' your game on the in-game menu which appears to do the trick. There doesn't seem to be any kind of 'auto save' however, which is what caught me out. I suspect this will catch out quite a few players; you kind of get used to games auto-saving progress at reasonable points; perhaps this could be introduced? But in the meantime, the game IS playable - just remember to manually save after every battle etc. Jamie Muppetpuppet Well-Known Member Sep 5, 2013 241 1 18 Applied Game Developer Amsterdam http://www.facebook.com/oberonscourt #13 Muppetpuppet, Jan 29, 2015 We're definetly got this on the list for a future update. Sometimes when porting such a PC title, you find that things like saving aren't solved in a way that easily translates to mobile platforms. But it's definitely not an unreasonable request to have an autosave. Keep you posted. This almost always means I lose the battle. Is this something you're able to replicate? We do however value the criticism of top reviewers like IGN (6.5, http://bit.ly/RSOIGN2) and Total Biscuit (Take the King become an achievement in the game: http://bit.ly/RSOTBv1). The game has been ported from the original PC version including all features and will be missing the features missing in the original. We were however very happy that a masterful team of Little Chicken has helped us remaster some of the parts which include the chapter and intro movies. I hope you enjoyed playing the PC version. We will review the feedback and based on this make our next steps. Thanks again for your voice on the game.
