I think I read somewhere that in a Maine high school it got so bad that the counselors working there were approved to distribute birth control pills. Can't remember where I read it from, though.
The guy who committed the crime should be either put to death, or sent to prison for the rest of his life. There is no justification for killing people, using God as an excuse is just another example of how people do completely insane and ****ed up things in the name of religion. I don't necessarily condone late term abortions, but at the same time, it's not up to me or anyone else to make that decision for somebody.
Yep, exactly what I remember. It always amazed me that people could tie their shoes but couldn't figue out a condom.
That's pretty neat with the banana condom demonstration. My teacher used a flesh colored cucumber. It was gross
I've never been pregnant, and neither have most lawmakers. It isn't our right to say what you can or can't do with your pregnancy. Slightly relevant, interesting story about Warren Hern: http://www.esquire.com/features/abortion-doctor-warren-hern-0909
Hi Scottlarsen, I just recently had someone very near and dear to me lose a 3 year battle with lymphoma on the first of this year. I'm sorry if I upset you or brought back any unpleasant memories. I've just been thinking about life/death/mortality quite a bit lately.
No worries, you didn't upset me. I understand your interest. It's one of those things that can seem clear cut until you deal with it. No matter how you slice it, those sort of decisions will shake you. Perhaps that's how it should be.
