Its not true, the only option to exclude devices is 3GS+ so we had to open it up to everything since the game runs great on 3G and pretty well on 2G. It is playable on a 1G even (What I have) but can get pretty choppy on some of the later levels with a lot of enemies. There's a note in the description that is might not run the best on older devices so hopefully people read it and don't bash the game because its not super smooth on their old 1G. We are going to work on optimizing it or maybe some options to turn down graphics (there's already 1 with the shell casings) to make the game more playable. If anyone with an older device buys it and is not happy with the performance I'll happily refund them for it.
Yes, that is one of the multiplayer modes we are thinking of. I'd also like to do a Left4Dead style multiplayer Survival mode where 1 person plays Guy and the rest of the players control the enemies as they spawn.
I don't know which have been mentioned or which are already planned, but here is a small list: -Team Deathmatch -Free for all -Co-op -Capture the flag -L4D-style -A mode where 4 players try to kill as many robots as possible in a certain amount of time (I was thinking of Hungry Hungry Hippo when I thought of this)
I didn't see any note of retina display support, but I did see Game Center support on the first page of the topic.
With Gamecenter, multiplayer would certainly be easier to manage. But the developers should definitely consider Retina Display, this game would look absolutely gorgeous, especially with the diverse color palate and the bloom effects from the weapon firing.
You really wanna play the same old MP types? Revolt is a revolutionary dual stick shooter and I'd like to make the MP modes just as revolutionary....
Yes. They're old, but they're still around because they work. All multiplayer shooters have these basic MP modes (TDM, FFA, CTF etc) so I don't see why you wouldn't include them. Don't get me wrong, your game looks awesome, but saying that your game is too good for these classic multiplayer modes is.. a little arrogant?
By the way, if any of these MP modes are put into the game will they be local bluetooth multiplayer or just online?
Not saying its too good, just that its different than typical shooters and contains a lot more unique gameplay elements (reloading, rolling, cover, destruction, grenades) and I just wanted multiplayer modes that were equally unique.
Well if you think about it, I don't know any dual stick shooters currently on the App Store with many MP modes... I could be wrong. Of course, I see your point and it's your game, so do whatever suites you
