I still can't wait for this game to release. Looks like it'll be one of the best dual-stick shooters on the iPhone.
i'm actually quite depressed that i'm about to say what im about to say: i find this game to be pretty dull and i'll leave it at that sad note
sorry. this is just me. i feel that this doesnt feel action packed enough. the whole thing says quality, but the gameplay just isnt that great imo. im sure its just a matter of taste!
I think it's pretty bad form to post negative impressions about a game you're currently beta testing. Just sayin'.
But it is good to be honest and voice your true opinion of the game whether it be good or bad. I'm gonna have to try the game out for myself before I really give up hope though
well, i don't want to go say i think it's the greatest dual stock shooter to grace the App Store (therefore the greatest game on the appstore) if i dont beleive it's that, am i? i don't like the fact that this game requires more precision shooting and patience to dodge behind walls, then run out and shoot. i personally prefer guerrilla bob or meteor blitz to this, due to the fact it's way more fast paced. i'm sure some other guy will have the exact opposite thoughts to me and will love this game. or something. (please dont take this as an argument or anything. just pointing out )
I agree. But only as long as you post helpful suggestions that will help the game get better and to fix your problems with it. I mean if you say it's shit, and then never say why or how to fix it, then you're a useless tester. I mean that's the whole point of testing isn't it (apart from bug finding)?
@da shiz wiz. have i said the whole thing is shit? no! in fact i can honestly say the whole game screams quality. i just dont like the more tactical approach to dual stick shooting that this game takes! is that by any means wrong? if i wanted to suggest a change to make it to my liking, i'd say you had unlimited ammo, enemies died much faster and that the bullets were made to be a bit more manageable to dode when shooting a large quantity of enemies. but thats not how the game was meant to be!
Yeah, from beta testers I prefer if they don't really say much about their opinion of the game, just actual facts. Opinions might hurt the game as pre-release people might get influenced by them, whereas facts allow people to form their own judgements.
Thanks, that's precisely my point. Keep in mind, too, that a game in beta is, by definition, not quite ready for prime time. To post criticisms of it seems unfair to the developer and to the process as a whole. You're supposed to be helping the developer, not getting a sneak peak. Once the game is released, you should feel free to tear into it -- you don't owe anything to the developer, really.
