got my hands on it, and my first impressions are very positive, the graphics are great and the gameplay, too. The only negative thing is, that the gun sound laggs sometimes a bit, but I'm sure that'll be fixed till the rerlease...
Yes it is, it's not complete yet. I have one too, and it's pretty awesome. It looks pretty complete though.
Hey guys, Thanks for such great interest in applying to beta test the game. The response has been huge and there's been a wide range of devices and skill levels, which is what we're looking for. We'll wait another day or so as the responses are still rolling in and then begin choosing. Stay tuned!
The game is great. Very few bugs. All that needs to be implemented is the story and some other art assets. Kris, great job. Oh, and I'm beta testing this game right now, and I've been giving feedback and whatnot - I've found only one major bug, everything else is great. Long story short - this is a game to definitely look out for. Very good, best dual stick shooter out there.
Yeah I read that in a review site too( can't remember which one right now but I'm sure it will be fixed before release)
Yeah. That's one of the things I actually like though - it's realistic. If you were hurt, would you not stop a take a second to adjust to the pain?
It's one of the things that I actually don't want fixed. People these days have their games too easy. Right now I'm playing the game on the hardest difficulty setting, with only the pistol, and I've already gotten to the fourth level. However, I've died THREE times across the times I've played already, and I consider myself around an 8 or 9 skill level on dual-stick shooters. If you've ever played BloodNGuns, I lasted for over an hour on the Shotgun and TNT mode (hardest one in the game). Trust me, the difficulty settings are great - easy is definitely easy, normal feels just about right for most people, and hard is extremely challenging.
Yes, this is not a bug but a deliberate design decision to encourage the player to dodge attacks using rolling and generally avoid getting hit. It is more realistic and also adds another layer to the gameplay.
