    @Truncana I agree with it being a single person in the ship - like in Buck Rogers, Battlestar Galactica.

    @shfrost I plan add more Elite 'influence' as time goes on, more like 'classic' Elite though rather than the new version that's on consoles now. For now I wanted to get the Combat right so players really like the action bits of the game. Elite was actually based on Star Raiders btw, and Star Raiders was based on the Star Trek game from 101 Basic Computer games. I am using all of these and more to influence this game.


    So (just to clarify) - two options - one to swap V and the other to swap H control ?

    Is that a better review? Hehe. When I wrote the first one I was hurried. I just wanted to put something because I didn't see anything. People notoriously download the game but don't leave reviews unless it's broken lol

    I really am a fan of your game!!! Please keep making more!!

    I really am grateful for the review, if you create a game and virtually no-one downloads it, no-one reviews it or anything then you get really 'disappointed' (a nice way of saying how you really feel). Here is what I wrote on my facebook:

    "Sometimes you get feedback that really makes you think it was worth coding the game. I read this today on TouchArcade about RetroStar (from someone I don't know!)...

    'I am having a blast switching back and forth. You freaken nailed it. The way the fighterand the aiming behaves from the front as opposed to the back.

    Adding "more Elite influence... more like classic Elite..." sounds great to me, and enough for me to purchase your game as soon as I'm done here. I'm done here. #

    Ok, purchased and only played for a few minutes, so I have nothing particularly constructive to say. I like what I see so far but I don't yet know exactly what I'm doing aside from blowing up everything I see. ;)

    One thing did disturb me, however. That being how the game credits run after ever death with no way to exit (unless I missed it). Is that permanent? If so, it should be removed in order to allow the player to retain immersion. It kind of kills the "one-more-try" feeling we all long for. Leave the credits on the main menu.

    I look forward to your planned updates. It's great to see your dedication and involvement with us customers. Best of luck with sales!

    I know what you mean about the credits screen. On Android there is a back button, but I don't think there is anything like that on iOS. I'll check for the screen being tapped after the initial message at the top of the screen so you don't have to wait through the credits.

    I've made some minor fixes here and there, added Czech (human translated) and Japanese languages (Google translated). The game has a new icon. Moved to new servers for the universal high score system (the old ones were test servers). I've added the tap on the credits screen to exit to the main game front-end.

    I'll be making the Apple version some time tomorrow, after that Apple usually take a day or two and it should be available.

    I'll make more changes after the show in Manchester as I don't want to break anything before then. :)

    I thought this was Mfi compatible, but it is not recognizing my Steel Nimbus. Anyone else?

    @shfrost I'll take a look at that tomorrow. Joypads should work (I tested them in an earlier version) but I may have forgotten something in XCode for a recent build.

    I've uploaded another version and tested with a Mad Catz Mfi controller. Apple have yet to accept it, but it's version 1.44

    @shfrost - can you give it another try with your controller when Apple have approved it?
