I wasn't terribly impressed with RE4 itself, but Dead Space sure did. I liked the analog stick for movement and general swiping for aiming that games like NOVA had (moreso than dual analog only), but FPS games still have some issues, where I ended up just settling on Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter.

Dead Space works surprisingly well, with the character being on the left side of the screen, movement is essentially handled by swiping on the character, so your thumb doesn't end up obscuring the view, and double tapping for a quick turn is also very handy. Swiping for cutting and stomping ends up working well too, although that could be more game specific.

I'm looking forward to more games using this model as it ends up taking the best advantage of the touch screen (touchpad like swiping works better than an analog stick for aiming) while minimising the disadvantages (covering the viewable area with your thumbs).
