If I reset my iPod, will I need to enter the restrictions passcode? I'm not talking about the passcode you enter when you slide the iPod when you turn it on; it's the passcode that can be used to block explicit songs and the iTunes store.
I looked but I could not find a thread on this.

Not in my experience, no... It might have changed since my firmware (3.1.1) though.

From my experience, yes you do. Well you only do if you restored from a backup you made while there was a restrictions passcode set.

sorta off topic, does anyone know if you still need to enter the slide to unlock passcode after restoring from a backup?

This is not a restore that I'm wondering about, it is a hard reset done by holding done the sleep and home buttons.
