I began the process of reserving my name in iTunes Connect, but I have a question, as this will be my first game.

Will I be able to change the app description and any other information when I actually upload the binary later? I know it says you can only change keywords with a new binary/update, but is there anything I should be careful about?

    Thanks.

    ETA:
How do you get bullet points in the description, say for a list of features? HTML?

  2. You can change most fields before resubmitting. The ones that get locked in are:

    • Device Requirements
    • Version Number
    • SKU Number
Why these values are locked makes no sense to me, but they are. All other values on the Overview screen can be changed before you upload your binary.

Also, Option 8 creates a bullet character on Mac.

    Thank you!

    Edit:
Perhaps this will help others. After going through all of the steps and reserving my name etc, it appears that I can still update the keywords and all other information (except version number and sku number). This is probably due to the fact that I have not uploaded my binary (actual game) yet. Just thought I'd pass this along.

I'd just like to make sure.

I've just gone through the submission process, filled in everything except the binary, and the status is now Awaiting Binary. Does this mean the name has been accepted?

If a name has already been reserved, then at which point does apple tell you? After the first page, where the name is entered, or later on in an email or something?

    Thanks.
