Warfare Inc is only 59p ($1) hmm
red conquest is more than that, but is it worth it?

Are red conquest or warfare Inc anything like uniwar?

NO! UniWar is Turnbased, so no Real Time!

Red Conquest is rivalling with Warfare Inc at the moment (its a bit more fun than Warfare Inc. even though it has no online multiplayer yet)...

With the upcoming Online Multiplayer, Red Conquest is a must-have even if you are only remotely interested in RTS games!!!! Expect to see a looong review of Red Conquest today or tomorrow!

If you want to buy the game, click the "Buy it if you haven't already!" link in my signature :p

RTS means Real-Time-Strategy. All players do all movements simultaneously instead of one by one...

You might know Warcraft or Starcraft for PC/Mac, these are RTS games.

In contrast, UniWar is Turn-Based. One player moves his units/atacks the enemy etc, then the others get the updated view of the matchfield. The next player does his movements etc... and so on...

While many Turn Based games are playing on a chess-board-like map (maybe based on hexagons instead of squares, but you get the point...), in most RTS games you can send your units everywhere and the positioning is more more free than in Turn Based strategy games... But for example in Warfare Inc. the House Placement is based on a Chessboard-like map, too...

Another nice aspect of the simultaneous controlling of units is the deeper strategy... while you might be able to respond to an attack in some limited ways in turn based games, in RTS games you can directly draw your units back and organize them for a counterattack...
