    Hi,

I have a DS and am wondering what games people really enjoy and recommend. I already have New Super Mario Bros and Mario Kart and I highly recommend them.

I haven't bought any in over a year, but I've got some great ones.

    Geometry Wars Galaxies
    Jump! Ultimate Stars
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
    Soul Bubbles
    Sonic Rush Adventure
    Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword
    Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow
    Castlevania Portrait of Ruin

and the best game ever to hit a handheld device...

    BANGAI-O SPIRITS!

I was thinking of Phantom Hourglass but shouldn't I just wait for Spirit Tracks?

I only heard of Spirit Tracks a few days ago (out of the loop with DS games) but I'm sure it'll be just as good if not better... but if you're a Zelda fan it's probably worth getting both since PH is also an awesome game.

The World Ends With You (modern setting action rpg, very original and unique)
    Disgaea DS (strategy rpg)
    Civilisation Revolution (strategy, turn based)

Chrono Trigger DS (at least if you never played it before)
Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (I'm pretty sure that Spirit Tracks is a direct sequel)
    Picross DS
    Tetris DS
    Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars

And that's really about it. The DS game library has been pretty disappointing to me. :(

And as far as I know, the only games I'm really looking forward to are:
    Zelda: Spirit Tracks
    Golden Sun DS
    Infinite Space

Do you have a regular DS or DS Lite, or a DSi? If you don't have a DSi, I could recommend some great GBA games, there's a lot more good ones than DS games in my opinion.

    PHOENIX WRIGHT!!!!
    The World Ends With You
Call of Duty Games (I've enjoyed 4 and WAW, havn't played Mobilized yet)
Mario and Luigi Partners in Time (If you don't mind getting a GBA game, go for Superstar Saga. It's way better and most likely alot cheaper.)
Resident Evil Deadly Silence (Direct port of the original and a version where the mansion is re-arranged a bit)
    Mario Kart DS
    Tony Hawk's American Skateland
    Skate It
    Advance Wars: Dual Strike
Dimentium: The Ward (Sequel in the works!)
I'd say Puzzle Quest, but the iPhone one is cheaper and better
The Castlevania games are really cool
Final Fantasy IV also got alot of great reviews, and its a Final Fantasy game. You can't go wrong with that.

So yeah, those are some great games. You should find something you like in there somewhere.

    Line Rider 2!
Best game for a time killer!
(I'm not sure for the DS, but the Wii allows you to publish your level on YouTube)
