I suspect this is going to be one of those games that sets the standard for graphics for some time to come. The shadows, the water, the detailed ground textures... really high production values here. Definitely looking forward to giving these tires a kick.

Try playing and filming at the same time. not very easy. The controls in my opinion are spot on. :)

That is looking awesome! Is it youtube making it choppy, or the device itself?

I think it is also the device it was captured in...

    One more thing :D

Tht is how well I could play it too if it was my 1st few attempts... so I do not see how controls are a Problem

Same here. I check this thread daily for an update to release date and pricing. I'm afraid I'll forget about this game, and never download it. After seeing the demos, I think it would be a shame to name own and play this game.

I think the game engine would be perfect for an RPG or a strtegy game.

Do you have some updates , developers ?

This will be a must for me as long as they say it runs good on a 3G. I have been a top down racer fan since my days of F1 Sprint. And iPhone is on need of a good top down racing game!

Yes I do, but I don't want to troll while on these forums. Hence the different name.

In answer to some questions here. The main game features 4 tracks for the rally, plus those same four in reverse.

They are: Tarmac lot, Milky road, Blesser's bend and Trasher Hill

Then the Delivery game mode features a fifth track built for that mode.

The build I played is an Alpha build so there may be some more tracks to come.

And yes there are 6 characters/cars to choose from.

As for video quality the video is running at 25FPS so it won't be able to show the game running any smoother (to keep file size down for Youtube HD). On my 3GS the game ran very smoothly, between 30-60 FPS at least.

Thank you for answering All the questions
It seems like you are more keen on letting us know things about the games which the devs do not want to reveal.... Proof -
I know They are busy developing the game & thinking....
Note : I did NOT miss the alpha thing tht U statd.

Whereas the graphics are awesome, I still hope the final release will contain some additional tracks.Or there will be dlc comin' .

I think the game would loose much of its potential, if the game is planned to contain 4-5 (not really 8) levels lifetime.

    But still...Instant Buy ;)

We are working on more tracks which hopefully will be finished before we submit the game. Otherwise an update or DLC should be possible, and something we definitely are interested in. We have plenty of additional ideas for the game, and it would be great to see some of them added in an update. For example, we have a caravan race mode working where each car must pull an old caravan to the finish, and you can sabotage the others by slamming into their caravan so it disconnects and rolls away on it own. It was quite fun, chasing a renegade caravan downhill trying to hook it back on.

We are also dreaming of the future games we can do with this tech. As you say, an RPG or Diablo style game would be great with this kind of graphics we can do.

    WOW.
I really hope you'll get success.
I know I'll do my part.

Just as an example...everyone is talking about Square Enix Chaos Ring trailer.
Well, I like the fact that a major house like SE seems to finally consider the iPhone as a full fledged console with new franchises....but as a technical showcase, I like your trailer A LOT more.
I do not know why, but in the SQ trailer I keep noticing blend textures, aliasing, and so on...while your trailer is technically much more consistent and imho much more cool on the iPhone.
