Watch the game get released in the Freemium model. You have to pay $.99 for every race you do in the game. You have to pay for all upgrades, tracks and vehicles. You have to pay $.99 for opening the game.

what sucks is i bet pixelbite wants to tell us everything but cant due to EA now has the publishing rights and they are not allowed to say anything unless ea marketing allows it.

The most irritating thing about this whole ordeal is the fact the game has been done since late June/early July, as stated by Pixelbite on separate occasions. The only thing I guess that could be holding this up is making it retina display capable, but that wouldn't take this long. Honestly what has Pixelbite gained in signing with EA? The game was already finished before they signed so it's not like EA funded more development, they haven't done any advertising or creating awareness at all, and the game likely would have been released long ago had they stayed with Polarbit. On the upside I would think this is next in the releases of EA's with Sims and Mirror's Edge already out, it seems like the next logical step. Also the summer is officially over so they missed that deadline. Hopefully soon, but I stopped anticipating this long ago because there is just nothing new ever released or talked about by Pixelbite or EA.

I know when it's coming out

I LOOKED AT EA'S ITUNES PAGE TODAY. A GAME HAS BEEN COMING OUT EVERY 7 DAYS FOR THE PAST 4 WEEKS! IT HAS BEEN 6 DAYS SINCE THERE LAST RELEASE AND DO YOU KNOW OF ANYTHING ELSE THAT THEY ARE RELEASING?

    NO

all signs point to the game coming out TOMORROW!

sorry just figured this out and got really excited.

I bet pixlebite is kicking themselves in the arse for going with EA and I'm sure they will never bring another gAme to EA for publishing.

Its not coming out tomm. Had it been scheduled for a thursday release, it'd have been out in NZ already.

Just you wait until it launches. I really doubt they'd have been able to sell it with a $5+ price tag on their own even if the game turns out worth the cost. With EA they've got a much better chance of selling it than with say polarbit or someone else.

I agree that with a publisher a game would make more money but not EA. they haven't done anything to promote the game, they are just sitting on it for whatever messed up reason. There are plenty of other publishers to choose from. EA puts out a game and that's it. I know they didn't make this game but if they put there finishing touches on it then I will turn my back on it and never look at it again. I have spent a few grand in the app store and everyone of my EA games were crap IMHO, therefore I am against EA and not support them.

It's like EA got the rights to this game and just put it on a shelf. I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't see it until Christmas. EA sucks for doing this.

I'm surprised the dev hasn't been on here yet. Every day just makes us hate him more.

You do realize the dev is at the mercy of EA, right?

No, I mean just to say that development is completed and that they're doing all they can to get EA to get it out and whatnot.
