    Right here, of course
That's quite the movie to name your game after :p I certainly hope the game has no scenes in the woods with rednecks who force you to squeal like a pig

They are referencing to the 1972 movie, Deliverance. It's a disturbing but interesting movie...

The game is called Deliverace not Deliverance so I don't thin it was named after the movie.

I think they were making a joke, and I pretty sure everyone knows what the name/spelling of the game is... ;)

Back on topic: We all anxiously await the arrival of this game!

Yeah, I realized the name wasn't spelled the same, and I'm relatively certain it wasn't even meant to be a play on words. I just wanted to try and find something to post without being another "is it done yet?". Besides, I thought it was kind of amusing :)

This game looked ready the first time they showed it to us. how many finishing touches can you possibly do to this game before it gets ruined, I've played video ges my whole life and when devs start doing what these devs are doing the game always end up being junk and I don't think this game will be any different.
Ive giving up on zombie infection and now I give up on this game. You devs need to rethink your strategy because anticipation can only last so long before all interest is gone.

It is very important not to rush development of a game, as Mountain Sheep sadly found out :(.

Why does no one have patience anymore? Go make a quality game and see how long it takes you. Honestly just chill out and wait.

I guess you do not play games on any other device where the games is usually announced from a couple of years to six months before release? Jesus christ how impatient people can be. And with your comments about "how long can you put finishing touches" you really seem to have no knowledge what so ever about creating games.

    Seriously guys shut up!
i dont know this guy but there is really no need to be jumping down his throat. He is just stating his opinion. I am a little impatient myself.

To Dusse: the different between this game and "games on other devices" is that specific dates are set on the release date of games on other devices. The companies at least let the customers know what month the game is going to be released in, but Pixelbite Games has only been saying that the game is going to be released "soon". Some people probably think that "soon" means two weeks from when they said it, but they've been saying that since the start of march. No one would get as impatient as they are for this if there was a specific release date for this game instead of having to come back to the this thread to see if there are any updates on this game's release.

To Johno: you cant expect everyone one in the world to know how to make a quality game. Im am very, very impatient, and do you wanna know why? because i want to play this game ASAP! And everyone who really wants to play it should be impatient too.

To Farley: you seem to just be following everyone else who is jumping down this guy's throat so dont talk.

Everyone relax and stop critizing others. Its stupid and annoying.

    Australia, mate!
Patience is the key my friend. In the mean time, you can enjoy reading a book, or walking your dog, or going outside and getting some fresh air.

I want to play this game, too, and would be happy if it were released to day. Nevertheless, Derochea72's attitude is childish and all too common in this forum. This game was first announced on March 2nd, so we've known about it for little over 5 weeks. It seems borderline hysterical to claim hardship for such a short wait; frankly, anybody who is already "losing interest" just didn't have that much in the first place. (To Dercochea's credit, that's not nearly as bad as the sturm and drang on display over the delay of the iPhone Pocket Legends client -- a game that people had only heard about 4 days earlier).

By the way, you are completely wrong about games in other devices. Just check out a preview interview on a site like Gamespot -- marketing people often speak about a game being ready "on the second quarter of 2010" or "before the end of the year," even as they show a playable demo. (I distinctly remember laughing at a designer saying that a game would be available "soon. Late summer, definitely") Specific dates are usually announced about a month or two before release.

The fact is, sites like this one provide unprecedented access to actual game developers, to the point that many of us have participated in private beta tests of forthcoming titles (how often does that happen in the mainstream gaming world?). That means that get to learn about games way before they're actually ready to be released to the public. One can be mature about it and appreciate being part of the process of creating a cool game, Or you can be a child and have a tantrum about it.
