There will be a few different cameras, yes. All top-down naturally though. The driving will be similar, yes. And there will be many more cars to drive, in various classes. Polarbit is publishing this one, which also means the name under the icon will look better. It was actually a request by EA that the original name were truncated that way!
I'm with jeff777, keep it off road. I am addicted to Reckless Racing and the off road racing is by far the best racing game on the iPad. The cars do look like street cars. I'm really looking forward to playing. I bought it during a Christmas EA sale and out of the dozen games I bought during the price cut frenzy, reckless is still the one I play repeatedly.
Well said. I'm really hoping they do keep it off road. There really aren't that many good off road racing games in the app store, but Reckless Racing really shines. I hope they continue the off road tradition, along the same lines as the original.
Absolutely. The dirt flying and very good physics of the game just rock. I have basically ditched all of the other racing iPad games.
Will you publish Reckless Racing 2 with EA like RR 1 or do you go on your own like with Reckless Getaway? If you'd go with EA it would be bad, cause there wouldnt be Game Center support. Edit: Question was answered already. Sorry for asking again.

Reckless Racing is my favorite racing game on the app store; in my opinion this game had great controls, superb graphics and was really fun to play against people. I found this image that compares the two games, I was surprised of how much they improved. I don't know if the cars will look that good when you're racing, but I have high hopes it will.
no way that Reckless Racing had that bad looks. I played it on iPad and it looked absolutely ravishing. In fact, I would be surprised if Pixel manages to outdo Reckless Racing one graphically by a huge margin, detailing of the cars notwithstanding
great screens make it content heavy-more tracks will be nice car models loook good, despite we won't see them on the track in such detail
It would be really cool if they would release some wallpaper so we could use them for our preferred devices. I had some ideas for wallpapers so I made some quick mock ups; I will try to make some better ones. Only made them for iPhone and iPod since i made them quick. Hope they release some official Reckless Racing wallpapers.
