If Steve is even there, it will be an absolutely horrible move for Apple... horrible... the stock will TANK.
The graphics do look great. I don't know if I should get this, as I already got need for speed.. Hmm...
And then he will also go on to TA and make a "ZOMG!! Real Racing is OUT!!!!!" post (in the wrong section) right? lol
Haha lets hope so. Right after asking what he should buy with his remaining $1.67 before going on a Looooooooooong car trip with his parents?
+1. You've captured the essence of TA Might have to pick this us to check out the physics engine. Only halfway through NFS, though (shouldn't have put all the upgrades on that one car )
I have absolutely no inside information, but from what I've read from developers on other sites is that the most recent build of 3.0 is pretty buggy and that they will most likely release one more build before they release it to everyone. Either way Real Racing looks very nice. I'll wait to see what others here say before I buy it, but I'm definitely interested.
I really hope the keynote tomorrow will feature Real Racing. It would ensure publicity for Real Racing, which means profits for Firemint. And if a great game like RR seems to be worth the effort for developers we will see lots of other top notch games coming out for the iPhone/iPod Touch I'm pumped for RR - hoping for a midnight release!
WTF it IS out in New Zealand! I'm so freaking jealous right now... But srsly, can anyone tell me why the game isn't released at the same time in every country?
Yeah it's because of the time zones. It is released at 11:30-12midnight (local time) in each country. Because it is 12pm in new zealand it is officially monday 8th so they can access it. Only 2 more hrs for us aussies!
I think it would be more fair if a game was released at the same time everywhere. Ofcourse due to different timezones one country would get it in te afternoon while the other would get it in the morning.
I think the current way may result in easier to manage sales data. This way they can monitor their sales in each county by the exact date it was released.
