Very slick indeed. The end of February is gonna be awesome with this and Year Walk scheduled to release.
Pumped for this. BTW, my sources tell me this will be freemium, as if you could not have guessed that already.
I'm preparing a special $10 just for this... Don't disappoint me firemonkeys. It looks sick, the good kind.
What you fail to see is that a game like this is now possible on a small device without any form of extended GPU cooling and direct AC power in order to run it. When I look at the mobile game market, I treat it as such. It's like saying: why are you getting so excited over Modern Warfare 4? It looks like Call of Duty from a few years ago. The fact is: this amazing development studio adds it's own unique merits to the game giving it a feel and vibe of it's own. This sets it apart from Gran Turismo or anything else and thus it isn't really fair to make these kind of comparissons. How about looking at features it doesn't lack, which -in my humble opinion- are far more important then accurate highly detailed car damage? I'll give you prime example that really stands out: as this game is designed for the mobile platform, I couldn't be more excited for the time shifted multiplayer feature. The idea is simply brilliant and I am quite sure they are doing everything they can and then some to make it brilliant in practice as well. I am saying this, because it also happens to be a unique idea to boot that has never been done before.
Bad EA BAD! Sorry guys , Electronic Arts to Convert ‘Real Racing’ to Free Mobile Title "Electronic Arts will appeal to a wider audience of casual players by making the “Real Racing 3” multiplayer game free, said Nick Earl, the company’s senior vice president for mobile and social game development. " "Real Racing 3 features 900 different events and 600 hours of total gameplay, Earl said. "
Wow so i'll have to eat my hat if this is true but it's also a confusing report. It says "the multiplayer game is free" so maybe there's two versions of the game? If not then...
SHIT. There goes what could've been the best racing game on iOS. Heyy, maybe. Or possible just a translation error
Yeah it's really a big blow to the IOS gaming community and i'm sure it wasn't firemint's decision. The outcry on this forum is gonna be insane. Yeah I keep telling myself that too but i'm sure, coming from bloomberg that it's reliable and that it just meant that the game has a multiplayer component.
Reading this was not pleasant. The only good part is that there's 600 hours of gameplay, but if it's going to cost $600 for everything, then no thanks.
Maybe it's stating that there's no payment needed for multiplayer, but for the campaign you'll have to shell out some cash.
