Yeah I barely use iTunes as well just to backup my device or restore it on occasions but it's a hell of a lot better than kies

Itunes is bullhockey. Probably because it was designed a decade or so ago as a music management program and Apple has been duct-taping new features onto it ever since. I auto dl all my apps to my PC, but often delete the big names figuring they'll still be available at a later time.

Updating is a pain as well. I have apps that would have been better left un-updated and others that disappeared from the store without me having updated them (good updates) on my PC. I can't read an update description from the stupid update page, and it only shows me a tiny fraction of my updateable apps. before itunes 11, I could at least update from the app page. Now most pften I delete and re-download.

Anyway...RR2 is back up, which I figured would be the case after I checked this thread, since searching for Firemint led to a blank page for a while.

Still...the system, as it is, isn't designed for people like us. It's meant for people who buy an app once in a blue moon. What we need is a digital media owners' (don't give me licensing bs) Bill of Rights.

I swear, I was about to close my TA account and drop kick my ipad.

I just want to add something: if you bought your first app in 07 or 08 like I did, you would know (as many on this site do) how many apps have vanished, had their names (more importantly, app ids) changed, had ads inserted, gine from premium to freemium, etc. I STILL have the same amount of money, minus 3 bucks, that I had in my account 3 weeks ago or so. I can't trust the damn appstore, the developers, the publishers, and certainly not Apple.

  6. No don't do that, who would post in the price reduction forum. We would be lost.
