i went into my recently added section of my ipod and found 2 duplicates of some random shitty songs ive never heard of. they arent in my library so i never put them in there but they do appear in the revently added section wit han exclamation point next to it i want to get rid of them but i dont know how i can do it help?
Maybe if you have downloaded some songs (not off iTunes) or had any songs somewhere else on the computer. Then you might of opened them up in iTunes (as the default media player) then they would of remained in iTunes amd synced over to your iPod next time you synced. Sometimes I forget about a song that I have downloaded (shitty or good) and opened it up in curiosoty. Then a while after, I find it in my iPhone. Either that, or a wife/brother/sister/dad has been messing around with it
i dont remember downloading or purchasing these songs and after listening to them i dont think its anything i actually want on itunes it has the exclamation point next to it signaling that the file doesnt exist but then how did it get on my ipod?
I know after I installed I-tunes 8.2 some of the songs I had unchecked to not be in my library were now rechecked and installed on my I-touch. I also now get a -81 error message on start up. I think the new version has added some bugs. So wouldn't be surprised if I-tunes added these songs from a game or something located on your computer. Run search and you should find them. Rad
Hahah holy cow I had this problem too yesterday. I think there's something funky with how 8.2 handles syncing of checked items. I was driving around in my car and somehow had not only Rick Martin's She Bangs on my iPhone but also Venga Boys' We Like to Party. Those are two songs that once you get them stuck in your head, you're finished.
this happened to me once with a non-ipod using non-itunes . The song was: With Or Without You by U2. Luckily, i fell in love with it .
i managed to get rid of those songs once and for all deleted every song from my ipod and then resynced it
