Well...my plan is to be done in the next 6 weeks. Submit to Apple...and then who knows:) ? So thinking it will be about 3 months.

But will not turn into some REALLY long dev cycle. One of the benefits to doing something by yourself is SPEED.....you can't actually move alot quicker.

On the whole it's a interesting game, lol, if the bomb of the rock should be kinda friendly. I get nervous with it. Lol, personal idea. I'll stay tuned for this game.

Hey Nick and all fellow Touch Arcadians!

Yes, this certainly does seem a tad erm abstract, but that's a good thing. I love abstract. And weird too for that matter.

This looks right up my street. I also love smiles. And I love retro, and I love platformers, and UDK engined games, and indie developer....and...etc, etc...

Nick, I wish you luck and success with your development of the wonderfully titled Rainbow Star Girl. I shall be keeping my eyes peeled for and development updates.

    Peace out.
    Simon

E3 - Indie Style! Who says you need a booth and a giant marketing budget. I just went anywhere I liked and did play tests where ever was convenient. Just reaffirming this new world of self publishing we live in. Just do it yourself and have fun.

At one point I just sat in the Nintendo Booth and showed off my game. It was classic:) Awesomely fun! I highly recommend to all Indies out there. Thank you to all the people that played my game. It was fun meeting everyone. I am going to take all your comments in and try to make Rainbow Star Girl top notch. Also on a side note...sorry for any unwanted booby shots. I really did not do it on purpose!

Anyway...having so many people play and like my game was awesome. Seeing people react the way they did...well...that is how i planned it when developing it..but seeing that...was worth it. I am setting out to make a game that is pure " girly fun love. " Hanging with my daughter for the past 4 years and living in a world of pink has opened up a whole new world of possibilities to me:)

Also...trolling developers was so much fun. Hope I didn't give them to many ideas. There were many WTF moments. Fun for me:)

As always keep up with me on facebook..

You are a genius, this is great indie marketing and I wish I could have thought of it myself. Keep up the good work, loved the segments where you "trolled" the other devs.

Monkeyy - Thanks Monkeyy...I had a ton of fun filming it.

Arashi541 - hehe. The helicopter pink line was my favorite too. I just love his reaction. He say..." UM where are you from?"

thecabster - Well a marketing genius would imply I have made a dime:) I am still poor as F@#$ so...only time will tell. hehe. But SO MUCH fun to do. Love trolling developers...going to do it more next time.

Haha that was classic. I also loved your bathroom booth but you should have put your booth in the womens bathroom because they are who your app is marketed to lmao!:)

Wow, dude just wow! Great job!
It's like the starving musician approach to game development.
All jokes aside I think some of the pros there should take a lesson from you.

Dude with the fancy helicopter game just looked like he knew it sucked!
