Well, after many, many months, several rejections, a name change and edits, Evil Alien Ragdoll is now live on the App Store. About a month ago I received a phone call from an Apple rep. He said the main thing holding it back was the screaming sounds. He said it made the ragdoll a little too human, and that if I removed the screams it would probably get approved. He was right! I resubmitted minus the screams and it went through with a 17+ rating. (For some reason nudity is selected as a reason for the rating, but there's no nudity in the app - and iTunes Connect won't let me change that). The app store has changed quite a bit in the last 5 months, but maybe there's still a place for a little ragdoll mayhem.
