WiFi is free just like ipod. 3G connection (or what ever it is now days) is from a provider and is charged.
haha...i almost always free....some hotels charge you(or any device) to use it...but it almost always free
When you log in to there wifi...it bring up a page with payment options....not tons of hotels have it...but when they do....it sucks.
At the cheaper ones probably...it may depend on the location...where do you live...havnt you seen all the hotels advertising free wifi??
Well here in the UK, pretty much anywhere other than your own wifi or somebody else's secured wifi, places will charge for wifi. Hotels, cafes, shops etc all charge for wifi. Also in most cities and public areas there is BT Openzone or Cloud wifi which you have to pay for as a subscription. I wonder if there'll ever be a day where everyone gets free unlimited internet connection wherever they are in the world. Probably not in our lifetime.
Florida, but I tend to stick with the "resorts," like if I go to an attraction, I stay at their hotel.
Yeah..I've been all the way from DC to LV...and only one hotel charged...I mean.. I would almost expect it to be free
In Finland..broadband is a legal right...and in austrailia they are giving everyone a fiber optic connection..so it could become a worldwide thing..that would be awesome!
In Finland it's a legal right, but it's not free. Not free in Australia either. Still, it's a move in the right direction.
well from everything iv read from steve jobs over the last few weeks and his relationship with at&t.. and he wanting to push face to face is a good example.. if steve had his way he would want a wifi world..
most hotels around here do not charge for wifi. also the hospitals have free wifi too.. was cool using the net while recovering from my spine operation a couple of months ago. starbucks, and fast food joints are now offering free wifi too. so whats the best wifi finder app? not found one i like yet. chris.
