Hey all. Not sure if this is the best place to post this, but I've been wondering this for a while: How does purchasing DLC in apps work?

Example: let's say I currently have 25.00 of store credit in my iTunes account. I go to Tap Tap Revenge 3 and attempt to buy a track pack for $0.99. When it asks me to confirm if I want to buy, and I click "Yes", what happens?

Does it take it out of my iTunes store credit, leaving me roughly 24.00, or does it take it from my dad's bank account (I have his debit card number entered in under my account). My dad has currently laid down the law that I am not "UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES" allowed to used his debit card number, so I'm not going to risk trying to get any DLC until this is cleared up.

    Can anyone help?!

    Thanks,

It works like any other iTunes transaction, no money is taken from the credit card attached to the account until the gift card is used up.

    Australia, mate!
It takes out the credit of your iTunes account.

Unless of course you live somewhere that doesn't allow you to buy apps with iTunes credits (like Canada). Then it gets charged to whatever payment method you use to buy apps.
