Hey there, I am in the process of making a website where users can rate apps in the app store, as well as tell other users which apps they thought were good buys and which ones were not. I am trying to work on a way where people can go on the site and ultimately get apps they really want for free. Please don't ask how it's gonna happen, I almost have it figured out and I'll give more details about it if the site ends up being launched. However, my question is: how do sites like AppAdvice and AppShopper get updated information about each and every app, including the description and new logos when they come out? I want my site to be able to have the logos and brief descriptions of some applications, but I think it would take a lot of time if I went and copied the logo of each app onto my server. Does anyone know how sites automatically do this? And also, is it legal if I put a logo of an iPhone game on my site? Like the whole copyrighted content stuff. Thanks!!
