Just to spread some holiday spirit, I want to give out some codes for Theodolite. This multi-function augmented reality app for the iPhone serves as a compass, GPS, map, zoom camera, and two-axis inclinometer. In addition to holding the top sales spot in navigation, Theodolite has been featured by Apple in the New and Noteworthy category, and has broken into the Top 50 Paid Apps ranking in the US and Top 20 in the UK. Based on the concept of a centuries-old astronomical instrument, Theodolite overlays real-time information about position, altitude, bearing, and horizontal/vertical inclination on the iPhones live camera image, turning the iPhone into a sophisticated location-aware viewfinder. Uses are endless, from land surveying to basic navigation, and the app is great for hiking, boating, sightseeing, photography, and sports. Theodolite lets users take camera images directly from the app, with 2X and 4X digital zoom options. Geographical data can be stamped on the saved image for later reference. Current position can be viewed on the built-in map, with standard, satellite, and hybrid modes. On an iPhone 3GS, bearing is updated live on the map with both fixed view and world rotation. Theodolite sells for $0.99. More info at: http://hunter.pairsite.com/theodolite/ PLEASE NOTE -- this is an iPhone-only app. iTunes won't even let you access or download it for an iPod Touch. So please don't take a code unless you have an iPhone. N4YMF3THAFHH M7PYKET4AYLM KL7E7FWHW7T3 TPP74LH4JH6L 34W7NA9YEKA3 Please post below when you have taken a code. Thanks, and enjoy!
Are promo codes generally actually being picked up by visitors, or bots? TA's a busy site, but codes seem to vanish within a few minutes. Ah well. Hopefully such redemptions actually result in reviews and/or positive buzz elsewhere.
What a horrible thought .... bots? OMG I really hope not. I only use codes for apps that I have a true interest in and politely let it be known what code I used. I have little tolerance for lurkers (of course we will never know who they are) but there's nothing we can do about that ..... bots on the other hand is simply over the top. Sorry to have missed this promo myself but thanks to the developer for the offer.
I wish there was a better way to hand out codes. I've done it via PM before, but it gets tedious for more than a few codes. But yeah, I think lurkers grab most of them.
