These are some very wise words. I get the feeling that the people working on this game are quite reliable and diligent which puts me at ease from worrying about any of the problems that some people have. I'm sure that this game is going to be pretty cool and available in hardly any amount of time.
We're confident that we'll provide you guys with an exceptionally polished and awesome game. As always, there will always be room for improvement but that should be part of the process. We created Project72 in 72 hours, we've had over a month to create Project Unknown so you better expect something extraordinary Anyhow... In the light of all the talk about Apple not permitting the use of intermediate code abstraction layers, we are talking internally about releasing a 3D game engine that would be native to Apple SDK. The game engine would be similar to the one we have built for Project Unknown. We are currently interested in gauging the interest from other community members before start planning. If you would like to let us know what tools and features you would like to see in the next 3D game engine for the iDevice, we would very much appreciate it.
We welcome any ideas at this point... The core functionality is to build games around what we call. ADSA (Adventure/Advanced - Dual - Stick - Action). We have tested the engine with both racing / car games and third person shooters. So far we have the following core feature elements: - Content on Demand - Physics - Lighting (partially) - Shop - Advanced Levels / Missions - RPG features (Experience / Levels) - Unlocks and Achievements
Unreal engine I think it'd be cool if it was a unreal engine kinda thing with best grapics and everything.maybe also the whole bots and deathmatches and ctfs and such 2
We are very far into development. The Beta release was scheduled for June 7th but we had to push it a few days due to performance issues on earlier iDevice versions. Those issues are now being resolved and we are looking at releasing the Beta this Friday, June 11th. I will upload a video as soon as possible!
Yes, we have chosen the Beta testers, but we are debating maybe we should add a few more. I'll get back on this thread if we have the time to add additional Beta testers. /R
