Agree, but I still consider this to be part of iOS crapology--kinda. All I can say is, ppl will prolly want to really consider upgrading once the 5th gen devices come out. -------------------------------------- I'm also curios about alternative controls!
Hey just sayin, Plunderland does NOT work on 2nd gen devices. I wish it did or I would have it by now.
You fly everywhere yourself. You can even get out in space Or get in space battles. What you saw was the player dropping a waypoint on the desired planet, they flew there using the controls. Its full physics and full control for the player.
It used to, for a long time. But one of our updates adding more missions and new ways to play took it to be less playable on old devices. Its not quite so bad for maintaining apps but games, things change in the code base and as the iOS advances techniques change and we are only two people working on this full time, only so much we can do!
Bummer, I wish I had gotten it then. I wish there was even an old copy that worked. Bummer looked so fun.
Yeah I wish that was possible too! It used to run super smooth on old devices. Wish the AppStore let you keep old builds up for old devices

Hey Josh, did you say that achievements will be included in the game? If so, can you make some sort of "John Carter" achievement where you go and rescue an endangered civilization on another planet. That'd be hilarious.
