Actually, if you look at the news coverage regarding Predators on TA, STP, PG, IGN, etc. you'll see most of them stated the game would be out on July 1. It's probably just stuck in the approval process.
Let's just say that I'm in a position to know that the July 1st date was never one confirmed by the developer. Not sure where the info originated.
Yep, got word that it'll launch today straight from the Chilling rep. If it's suppose to launch worldwide today, I don't know.
Again, I'm on a NDA and can't speak too directly, but let's just say I would be very, very surprised if it came out today.

chillingo is saying they are hoping for release today. Squarezero says he thinks it's unlikely. although he is under NDA, this probably means ( and I am just hypothising, since squarezero has not told us anything new or specific or that would go against his NDA) that considering the current 1 week review average, the game was submitted early this week rather than late last week. Hence probably no release this week... I'll watch the movie instead this WE!
