Car Jack Streets Sally's Spa Resident Evil: Degeneration Yummy Yummy Cooking Jam Briscas/Briscola Debating on Peggle....I'll likely give in since I know how addictive it is, but I will never have enough time to play all these games lol
The last one I bought was Sparta (lord of war) last weekend. I bought Underworlds 2 weekends ago. After that, I havent bought an app since April 10th when i got Supercross, than in March 30 I got Galaxy on Fire, and in Feb 27 I got The Quest. Those were my last 5 games. Once I get some gift cards for my b-day, Im planning on buying a lot! Assassins Creed, Zenonia, NFS, CJS, Deer Hunter 3D, the list goes on and on. Hopefully more games will be released from EA and Gameloft too!
Regarding Wild West Pinball... the problems with it are that it is uninspired and boring from a playfield and rules standpoint, the physics aren't very good contrary to what was said (it feels off, post passes don't work, etc) and, related to the poor physics, repetitious (the ball keeps following the same exact paths over and over) which is frustrating and boring. In general it's pretty apparent that the developers do not actually play pinball, or if they do it is only in the most limited capacity. Most likely their primary experience with pinball is in video game form. The only good pinball sim that I have played is Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection (PS2 and Wii - I haven't played the PSP version, but hear it is good too.) Which isn't to say it is perfect, but it is pretty close and it has the inherent advantage of good pinball machine design, since it reproduces genuinely good, real machines.
My 5 most recent games are these: -Terminator Salvation -Resident Evil -Top Gun -iFighter -Deer Hunter
Ok, I concede, I have never played real pinball or any other pinball game on another gaming console. I was just comparing what the iDevice has to offer. Your argument is sound, and perhaps I was a tad too quick to wax lyrical about WWP. That said, I still find it, along with Freeballin' (for is innovation) the most enjoyable pinball game to have been brought out to date.
Stoneloops Underworlds Sentinel Baseball Superstars Uniwar I guess I buy slower than some on this thread...
So far this month (Most recent at top) Sparta ( I love updates-games cf PG, Ninja Buddy, ...) Punk Justice (Gotta start posting on the PJ thread, I am still getting nowhere) Flying Aces ( Nearly any 3D flying app is a must buy for me, Red Bull next..) Caster (I always love an original concept with good graphics) Ancient Frog (My patience finally rewarded...) Cops and Robbers (same as Caster) Eliss (great idea, would have liked as much creativity for graphics) Top Gun (cheap and cheerful, and it was just before TG day which is officially today, as the movie was released 5/16/86, being 18 again )
Assassin's Creed- Super awesome, reminds me of Prince of Persia, which I really loved. Speaking of Prince of Persia, that should be ported over to the iDevices. Wolfenstein 3D- Had never played it before, I'm loving it so far. Magnificent Gizmos and Gadgets- Pretty cool game, I'd say...decent. Eliss- Super fun until you get to like level 15, then I just can't seem to beat it. Peggle- PURE AWESOMENESS.
