If gangs of monkeys are going to fight in the branches how can they fight? Easy, they use one hand to hold onto the branch and the other hand to fling poo. IMO it's genius. You have a nice large arsenal full of poo weapons. Don't let the silliness fool you because underneath it is a fun strategy game. We really enjoyed making it. We could not stop laughing about the whole idea, and we had other games to work on, and this idea just wouldn't fall. And we had to get the deeper strategies in (its adapted from another idea that is RPG style influences in an artillery game, way more involved, but Poo Flingers really dials that back and goes for the fun.) Fouling pegs, gassing out areas, whether to go hand to hand, where to position yourself for a shot, dropping monkeys with a hand hit or hitting them in the body which pushes them changing the fall strategies oh so slightly. We got a reskin of this for apple coming down the pipe. When the holiday dust settles we will try the game as intended again and we will also push out to Android as it was intended. We just hit a massive prude in the review process is all. With Apple that happens (see Smuggle Truck vs. Snuggle Truck.) It's hard to be harsh and/or make statements that are edgy on Apple's store. They are afraid of upsetting the apparent delicate sensibilities of its user base. We filed for crude humor btw. It's their store, so I am fine with that. I can still be grumpy about it at times... It's a good thing we don't feed our families with the proceeds from our efforts... Oh wait! Its hard not to take it personally, but we knew it was edgy. Once we went full-time on these games it has changed the emotional makeup of why we do some things a bit. But we got Android and people can decide for themselves if they want polished 'fudge' with sprinkles or just straight poo. If that is what I have to do get access to a user base that 4x likely to purchase a game than say Android I'll make sure I get in on that.
