I'm really looking forward to this. Crescent Moon seems to make/publish great games so far, so I don't have any doubts I will have a blast with this one. Wonder when the release date is...
Hi JoshCM Any word on my earlier question? "Any chance in a future update (yeah I know the game hasn't even been released yet) of being able to change the look of your character." i.e. change gender, appearance?
We will have skin unlocks in the first update. Which will change the look of the armor. We are not planning to have gender options.
The title is complete fail for an iPad only game.... I mean, unless you have huge pants. The title should be "backpack rpg". (please disregard my pissy tone, I'm just grumpy that this awesome game isnt for iTouch...)
question... does anybody know if you can change the look of your character or if you can equip different armors and they change the characters look? just curious... thanks
You don't have to apologize for your name of your game, which is a perfect description of a light-weight RPG on iOS that punches above its weight. The word "pocket" has long been used to describe something or someone that is stronger or more powerful that one would expect from its size or weight or cost. "Pocket Battleship" is an early example. One can't literally fit a 16,000 ton warship in one's pocket, but the metaphor is expressive. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pocket_battleship I think that "Pocket RPG" is a great name and I hope that you keep it.
I think its a great name - otherwise I would have said something. and it will fit in your pocket, when it comes to the iPhone/iPod Touch. Pocket to me also means 'cute' which defines the style of the game. This is a random dungeon crawler at heart but with enough action to satisfy non RPG fans. I can't wait til its ready for beta!
Hi Dev, any comment of this game with the game of a similar genre (I think) Bug Heroes? What do you think is the edge?
jase23 you have no idea how happy ur comment has made me. broadpfc, I haven't played bug heroes yet but I'm sure it has similarities like the dual sticks, choice from 3 classes. Personally, I think Solomons Keep is more similar in combat and progression.
From viewing the trailer and screenshots, this game brings to mind a cross between Torchlight for PC/Mac, and Solomon's Keep. Would you say that this game is more like Solomon's Keep, or more like Torchlight, or maybe it shares traits with both games, or is it quite different from either game?
