Couple of questions about the interface.
Anyone know what the map icon above the quest icon in the top right hand side of the screen is? It is constantly greyed out for me.

And in the inventory screen, in the top left hand side, what are the two icons under the quest icon for?

Wow that's a lot lol. I don't think I've ever had 1000 games even when I had both hands hahaha. Googling one handed iOS games is a great idea, thanks! I'll PM you tomorrow, thanks!! Gonna tell Siri to remind me... It's midnight here & need to get to bed.

About the map icon: you unlock it at the guild so you can see the minimap of the dungeon you are in. Seems kinda strange as most games of this type have this feature built in from the start but here you have to unlock it. I kinda like the idea though.
About your second question i also do not know yet but i am guessing it is something similar.? Something you unlock later on on like a special power?

Thanks for the answer sakara214ever. #

Good to know that about the minimap. I must need to branch out my guild some more to get that option available.
And I agree, now that I know I also kinda like the idea of accessing/obtaining it later.

Now that you have shed some light on that, I agree that probably those other two icons will be available later on.

Would like to find some wiki or basic guide about this game. There is a lot of depth hidden under the covers. #

    Theory about IAP

So on Android this game is free but on IOS it’s a premium game. So likely the IAP might be an unintentional left over from the port. As Boardum mentioned, they don’t work nor does the store list them.

I’ll see if I can contact the dev.

I really wish this game had MFi support. It's very hard to play without it. I have to move the controller and press the attack with my right hand. Confusing design choice.

Really awesome game. Reminds me of Dungeoneers Academy. Love that it's action oriented and real time. Also love how the gear changes your appearance and how arrows temporality stick into walls and bodies. I got it when it was 1.99 for a day but the price seems to be all over the place now. Went all the way up to 4.99 for a day now back down to 1.99 again so grab it now.

IAP is working now for me since the last update. Luckily the game is generous with coins just by playing and investing in the guild perks that boost your income (like the passive cash/hr, sell rate and bag space). Also the crystals by killing the tough enemies and doing the daily quests.

I find the ranged classes do the best. I'm focusing on the archer with the penetrating shot, default attack and the leap back. The gear is what really boosts your dmg and the only way to boost defence. It takes more than 1 skill point to see an increase in dmg for a skill though.

Really hope the translation gets improved because the essence of the writing is really good and it's clear the dev put effort into it (but not the translation).

Yeah, I agree that the iaps are really not needed as the coins and gems do drop at a reasonable rate. I have felt that I might buy some to get better stuff quickly but I am having such a good time just playing that I dont mind the grind.
But they are there for those that want them.

And definately ranged characters seem the way to go in this game. I found that my melee characters just kept getting overwhelmed whereas my ranged characters lasted a lot longer.

One thing I noticed is that my hunter that also has range attacks as a secondary skill hardly got a bow as a drop, but got a lot of melee items. I tried the ranger and he however got quite a lot of bows as drops.
Perhaps the game caters for what character you play?

Does in have persistent upgrades at all? I’m pretty shit at action roguelikes so I enjoy the crutch of being able to slowly build up my character along with my skills.

A crying shame that the dev has had to give this game away. It is so worth paying for.
I guess not even good games can make a buck for a developer on iOS. ☹️

    I feel you

I love some rogueliie twin stick shooters but i usually suck, so I feel you.

This one, as a roguelike has skilltrees for each character, which you can evolve (you get 1SP per floor you go through, so even if you suck and clear 5 levels, you still get 5pts).
It also has some base development, much like guild of dungeoneering, which means you open up more places around your main hub that give some permanent progression.

So yes this has that which is good. :)

Game is built on f2p monotenization. I am a little upset at having paid for it. Especially with the iap not showing initially.

I haven't found the need for any iap at all. Oh sure you have to grind a lot but that's all part of playing a roguelike.
I agree that the iaps were not itemised in the App Store which is bad practice and I don't like it, but it did say they were there in the description, and it was discussed in this thread.

But anyhow, I am still playing, I am still progressing in the game, I have all the available characters, I am still dying a lot but I haven't felt the need for any iaps....yet. #

The game currently has limited MFi support, and the dev told me via facebook that they are working on it.
Unfortunately though I have had no response for some time since I informed them how my gamepad is working with the game.

    My Nimbus Steel Series gamepad does the following;
You can control movement with the left analog stick and you can fire your main weapon using the Menu button on the controller. The toggle switches open the inventory and exit menu.

Unfortunately, as it is now, you need more buttons to work to make the gamepad a viable alternative to control the game.

This is still listed as "no in-app purchases" when I search for it. Does anyone know if they've been removed, perhaps with the re-raising of its price?

The iaps are now gone, passed on, no more, ceased to be, expired, met their maker, bereft of life, kicked the bucket, .......these are ex-iaps. (apologies to Monty Python) #

....and the price for the game is up and down like a yoyo atm. Whatever it is just buy it. #

I realise this is an old thread but I wanted to give a heads up for the latest patch.
It includes cloud saving and it works a treat.
You simply make an account in game with just an email/password/username and your good to go.
    Transferring between devices is painless.
I just bought the Steam version as well and it transferred my iOS save straight to my pc game!
Now I can continue the one save on my pc/iPad Pro/iPhone 8 Plus, wherever and whenever I feel like it.
