id like the game except the fact of havin buy everything 1 by 1. for a mmo its cheaper than having to go out and buy a $30 expansion, but i have to use the credit card and my mom might not let me use it everytime theres a dlc that comes out, i dont want to have to wait and buy a itunes card everytime somethin comes out
Thanks for the fantastic reply Spacetime! I love the animal characters, much prefer them to if it was people. If you have not implemented a Bear city yet please call it Beargrimmar
Personally the animals as characters seperates it from the common mmorps of male or female human. I'd like if they planned on adding more animals to play as such as a tiger. And I would like it if you could pick let say, the eagle, and turn him into a tank. Would this be possible?
I don't think so. Seems like every animal represents different class, depending on its natural features: 1. Eagle - Dexterity, sharp eye - Archer 2. Fox (?) - Swoft, intelligence - Enchantress 3. Bear - strenght, endurance - Warrior Just a small variation about party system - it's all about strategy I see: as very class represents different skills and features, the best combination would be to have party consisting of: 1) If 3-characters team: - Archer - to attack from the distance, let enemies know "we're here" - Warrior - close combat, smash them as they're close - Enchatnress - are You hurt? Heal me! 2) If 4-characters team: - Archer - Enchantress - Warrior - Warrior To make the combat closer if someone likes it. 3) Another combinations of 4-characters team: a) - Archer - Archer - Archer - Enchantress Don't let them come too close, pretty useful for those who don't like get their hands dirty. Enchantress to heal hurt (eventually) Eagles. b) - Warrior - Warrior - Warrior - Warrior Nothing's as powerful as TANK. 4-times increased battle power in combination of box of healing potions would take its effect here. One question to the devs: if I will be in party, will I share experience from monsters killed by my teammates? How about sharing loot?
Tiger would be a good animal for Pocket Legends version of Rogue Hedgehog = priest? Turtle or Armadillo = paladin? Crab/Lobster = Death Knight? Dragonfish = Warlock? http://www.sumedh.info/pictures/deep-sea/hairy-angler.png Buffalo = Shaman?
I don't want this to be a exact clone of WoW, and I don't think the developers do either. However, the Buffalo=Shaman idea is very cool and would love to have something along those lines.
Just used Warcraft classes as i've never really played any other MMO If any of my class ideas are implemented I would LOVE an npc named 'Dorayt' if at all possible!
I think it would be a food idea to have at least two animals for each class. It could give people more choices to play as there class of choice. Reviews Like this would occur. "I think the tank is cool, but I hate playing as a bear so I'm not buying dlc. Please fix. Until then 1 star. I would give it 0 stats of I could because it sucks. -***" I can't wait to play.
New classes would be better than new animals for existing classes imo, i'm sure this game will have enough 5* not to have to worry about idiots posting 1* 'I DEMAND THIS' reviews
Ya, plus people who are smart listen to websites like stp, ta, or pg uk. Or forums. I actually just read the stp interview and the character types make sense with the story. Apple is being really stupid. I think if an all apps and updates should be handled in the order in which they were recieved. I can't stand Apple giving preferential treatment. I'm dying for this and the minigore update.
I just thought of another question. Is there an economy in this game between players? I assume you can sell loot at vendors, but is there a player trade option or an auction house in town for players to sell and buy items? The economy aspect is always something I've enjoyed, especially when there is an auction house.
http://www.slidetoplay.com/story/slide-to-play-q-and-a-pocket-legends-for-ipad Sounds awesome! Just waiting for Spacetime to post now and decide to use one of my ideas hehe
Maybe adding a cursed forest location, just for a change if we Get tired of dungeons. And maybe temporary events were you can Get items that is available for a limited time (will make trading more "important") maybe a Wolf (Swordsman) character, very good one-on-one, good at lowering his opponents stats and stunning them. And enchanting is a very good idea. Maybe you can find some kind of special weapons in the dungeons that can be enchanted while other items can not be.
Great ideas Martin. I am for the forest and temporary events. It's Easter, how about an event with Easter Eggs? Everyday You can claim an egg worth some amount of experience... Or bunny ears
