They could probably make a water dungeon with all sorts of fish and underwater mammals like sharks and dolphins and maybe even huge whale bosses. That way you won't have to see fish on land.
That would be awesome! Fighting a huge whale would rock, although we will see what kind of scale bosses the engine can push out If the dragonfish was a Warlock i guess it could kinda float on black smoke or something since it's basically dark magic class
Man...all of these ideas make me want to play the game even more. Do we have any idea about an Iphone release date as of yet?
They probably won't be making/implementing new classes for a while though. I did hear while listening to the TouchGen Podcast (http://www.touchgen.net/pocket-legends-mmoprg) that they're gonna update the game with guilds and other really cool stuff.
Content Update (45431) Changes (should patch automatically when logging in) Eased up chat filtering a bit more More explicit instructions added to towne dungeon start page iTunes item packs now have character class sub-categories. Item Pack (Category): Archer (Sub-Category), for example. Auto-rank skills and auto-populate skill slots for first 4 skills Enchantress heal and Archer blast shot fx optimizations Updated HUD help screen, made primary attack button larger Help is now on by default
Thank you for the update! Sad that we still don't have the game on iPhone and itouch yet. Maybe you guys could give apple a word on out behalf? For those that messaged me about being added to the Pocket Legends list, I will do so as soon as I get on my PC. I'm on my itouch right now, doing a abut of AppStore searching! Btw, I saw the game icon on the iTunes store and it is an awesome little thing. Love it.
Question for Spacetime Studios... Do the various armor sets for the three classes in the game get more definitive as the level rises (eg. bigger armor with more metal plating for the ursan warrior), or are they all reskinned/recolored versions of the original? From what I see in the screenies they all look they same but with differing variations of color, pattern and shading.
Aye Spacetime tell them noone is gonna buy the crap they are approving so hurry up with pocket legends or you are gonna send the TA guild round to the HQ!
Suggestions can become reality with the developer definitely reading the post though! I would bet we will see at least one of deer, wolf, dragonfish and buffalo!
They are probably looking at a 1-2 week backlog of games to approve. I wouldn't be surprised if that is how long its been since some of the games released today were submitted.
They've been worrying too much about the iPad and all the stuff concerned with that to pay much attention to the iPhone/iPod Touch. With amount of iPad games and apps pouring out it wouldn't surprise me if it took longer than 1-2 weeks in order for Apple to regulate itself.
Actually, both Hockey Nations and Monster Truck Nitro II were submitted after PL (not so sure about MTN2) and they're both already in the App Store. I'm sure there is a backlog, but it's tough to tell how big it is.
