I wish they showed off different views on the iPad. I'm hoping for a nice overhead view that shows the entire table at once.
I think that is the best video they have posted yet ! They nailed pinball on the iPad...the graphics looks like a real machine and the physics look spot on !
Agreed. It looks great. I really like the view too, and how the DMD is right where it is in real life. That's the perfect camera angle, IMO, but I would set it so it never moves around.
Yes, there absolutely must be fixed views in both portrait in landscape modes or I will be extremely disappointed.
I'm almost certain there will be. There were numerous fixed and moving views for The Williams Collection when they released that, so I can't see them putting out a game that didn't have it, I just want to see how it looks.
Any word on compatibility for those of us with the original iPad? It'd be a sad day if we were left out in the cold.
Good to see the iPad 2 video made the front page: http://toucharcade.com/2012/01/12/video-of-upcoming-pinball-arcade-running-on-ipad-2
Don't worry. There ARE fixed views, several of them!! I have both older Pinball Arcade versions for the PSP and they have 3 different fixed views and 3 different "dynamic" views. The dynamic views are MUCH better done than on any other pinball game. They are "smart" so that they don't move around all the time. Only when the ball goes all the way to the top it will snap there so you can control the various lit lanes and features easier. Pinball Arcade is pretty much THE perfect pinball sim in my opinion.. at least it's on the PSP (and I've only heard positive things of the Xbox360 and PS3 versions). Cheers!
They'll be posting a video showing an iPhone 4 playing the game later today, and I'm sure it'll be posted in this thread by one of the frequenters of their Facebook page.
Everyone make sure you go *like* their Facebook page...for every 100 *likes* they post videos and give new info ! http://www.facebook.com/pinballarcade
First, they preview Arabian Nights on iPad then Theater of Magic on iPhone...seems is close to final release!
From Facebook: "The Pinball Arcade We'll be talking to Apple this week to pick a date." BTW, the next video is an Android device.
