Which 1 table is included for free...I mean you must get SOMETHING when you purchase the game, right?
I think Arabian Nights is the table that comes with the $0.99 purchase. Other tables are IAP. If they're all $0.99, I'll buy them all to show support, even though I'm not a Black Hole fan. If they're more expensive I'll probably just buy Theatre and Ripley's. I've played Ripley's before and it's a lot of fun apart from the reliability issues that most Stern tables seem to suffer. Looking forward to a table that doesn't break down as much.
I think they said the tables would be .99 and 1.99...depending on the tables, but that was a few months ago...so it could have changed. It probably depends on the price they had to pay to get the licenses for each table. I have been a beta tester of the iPhone version and I can tell you they are worth it.....the best pinball on iPhone (and I don't know how anyone can get it any better)
That would make sense. Seems to be what Zen Pinball is doing, charging $0.99 for their regular tables and $1.99 for Marvel tables. I could probably be convinced to pay $9.99 for a quality Twilight Zone simulator if that's what it takes to license the IP. Is it Wednesday night yet?
I plan on picking up all the initial tables except Ripley's for both iOS and XBOX. Sorry if this has already been mentioned but can anyone confirm iPad 1 support?
I really don't think there is any table I will not buy for this. I don't even care if the game is awful. It's like having a pinball collection/history in your pocket. I've even been known to play Popeye on occasion. Ok, maybe that's one I wouldn't buy, but you get the idea. LOL.
I tried setting my iPad's clock to 12:00 AM February 9th to see if it would let me download Pinball Arcade. It didn't. Just FYI.
That's ridiculous, that wouldn't change anything...but if some hackers could convince the big main Apple server it was February 9th!
Any of the gang here test the game on an iPad 1? Sure they have a video of it running smooth as all get out, but that doesn't mean as much to me as a first hand report confirmation of this fact.
In 25 hours and 6 minutes I'll let you know first hand...lol They did have people test on the iPad 1....I'm just not real sure who it was.
Latest news: "FarSight is proud to announce that we are scheduled to include Monster Bash and Attack from Mars for the Pinball Arcade within the first six months of our DLC released tables." That's in addition to the two other DLC tables they've already revealed: CV and MM
