I might get it, but I still have to beat Justice for All and Trials and Tribulations, as well as Apollo Justice. But I do like Edgeworth, and the new investigations system seems pretty cool so I might go for it. I'm going to miss the courtroom and cross-examinations though... But it still looks pretty good. I still want the Darkside Chronicles and Dead Rising 2 first. BTW, any more info on the iPhone version of PW? I'm dying to play it.
They have the cross-examinations still! In the forms of logic or testimony and Miles' rebuttal! And in Case 4, it takes place in the courtroom. It's amazing. And yeah, where is the iPhone news??!!!!
Nice... I'm even more tempted to get it now. I really have to get the other PW games so I can beat them. As for Apollo Justice, I think I'll pass. It just wouldn't be the same without either Phoenix or Edgeworth as the main character. Does this come after any of the PW games, or is it its own story that's not dependant on any of the story events from the main games?
It takes place before, during, and after For example, Case 1 takes place after Apollo Justice, Case 2 takes place 2 days before that, Case 3 takes place less than 24 hours before Case 1, Case 4 goes back 10 years to Miles' first trial, (which is the one I'm on now.) Also there are clever references to the original. e.g. posters of "Buy the full Steel Samurai boxed set now!" and not-so-clever ones, such as Detective Gumshoe signed on as Miles' partner throughout most of the game. WHY DONT YOU HAVE JUSTICE???!!!! Justice is probably my favorite in the series, the court system was refined and the duo of Apollo and Trucy is hilarious! PLUS, you get to see Phoenix 7 years later! (He's a total bum after losing his defense attorney position!)), there are more than 5 cases (there are 8, I think), and all of them are just like the one with Ema Skye in the first game! Ema Skye is actually an important character in Apollo, and Investigations. There are so many reasons to have Apollo Justice. Just get it and Investigations now.
I don't have it because I still have to beat Justice for All and Trials and Tribulations. I wish that they had these games at Blockbuster as I could definetly beat one of them in 5 days... and I NEED to know what happens next... I have to get some more money first... I'm trying to get a PS3, so there goes all my money. I hope they have some cheap, used copies.
Well, there aren't as many around as there used to be, but there's one Blockbuster in my area. In fact, just last week, I rented Army of Two: The 40th Day and Mario and Luigi 3 from there. It's a bummer that so many are going out of business... I really don't want to have to use the online services to get movies/games.
I don´t know if this has already been posted, but here is a Hands On Video on the US Version of Phoenix Wright by SlideToPlay: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zYRx74JVe8 Can´t be that far away now, can it?
I seen that a month or so back and have been checking here every day since hoping to see it has been released.....loll!!I wish they would give us some info about it,like release date or if it is even getting released!!
I hope so,i was reading an article with Capcom talking about street fight IV and they said they where looking at another fighting game as their next iphone release,no mention of Phoenix Wright!
I don't know, has anyone seen the price breakdown yet? In Japan it is selling for ¥115 then chapters 2-4 are ¥230 and 5 is ¥350. If you've never played it might be worth it, but otherwise it seems like a lot of money. ¥1155 for the whole shebang which is about $12. And there is no promise that the price won't keep going up. It also have only 3/5 stars. A lot of people are complaining that an update erased all their data. アップデートしたらデータ等取得できなくなりました。。。
yes but thats only in japan o-o what are we gonna do if we cant even read japanese.. so not worth buying the japanese version right now..
I wasn't suggesting you buy it. I was pointing out that the Japanese version is buggy and overpriced.
ANy news on this? Was the US version cancelled? Maybe they'll make an iPad version! I'd be so stoked!
We've got some news, folks Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney coming next week It looks like it's coming next week and will be priced at $4.99. It also says in the article that it will contain all five cases from the "GBA" game (I kind of think they mean DS). Does this mean the US version no longer has to be connected to the internet for the rest of the cases?
