Gonna say right now you are need to make a small txt file that shows the code and what it does or people might just rate badly because they don't know coding. Also, I would see if you can run a small file server with the user made levels in it so if people don't know code they can at least download someones level in the game. As I'd stands right now I'll probably buy this but I might wait to see what what the new game modes are. Though I do like the new ships.
Excited for this. Will there be an option to turn music off but keep game sounds? That's about the only thing I didn't like about the original (assuming I'm remembering correctly).
There's no option per se, but if your music is playing while the game is started, the music while not be interrupted by the game's music (but the sounds effects will keep working). I'll upload the tools with tutorial/examples, that's for sure. Unfortunately I can't allow people to download the levels to their device (it's against Apple's terms of service). I will only allow people to test in the PC version of PewPew.
Two possibilities: -they don't follow Apple's rules (not likely) -their levels contain only data, not script (more likely)
@jyaif why dont you try doing it a bit like them? im sure more than just me would like to be able to download and play limitless levels!
No, it's not possible. My levels are dynamic, they contain events. Embedding only data and no scripts would result in static levels, which would not be very interesting. In other news, PewPew 2 is live: iTunes link Enjoy!
