What's up? I was wondering what games I should get that are like these games that I've played:

    Half Life 1 & 2

    Bioshock 1 & 2

Fallout 3 (pre-ordered Fallout New Vegas, can't wait!)

    Borderlands

I'm just looking for a few games that I would enjoy. I like games with a good storyline, that's why I wasn't that crazy about Borderlands, although it was decent. I played a little bit of Bioshock and it was decent. Of this list Half life 2 and Fallout 3 are my favorite.

The games don't necessarily have to be First Person Shooters, but they must either be on PC or Xbox 360.

I was thinking about getting Mass Effect, any thoughts?

Mass Effect is the best modern franchise, so yeah, go for that. Play the first one, love it, import your character on Mass Effect 2 and be prepared for a thrill ride.

Also, if you liked Fallout 3, play Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. It's fairly similar but with a fantasy aesthetic.

Mass effect comes to mind. Definetly go for that.

Star Wars KOTOR is also amazing. But old.

Mass Effect -- I only play the first one but it was one that I couldn't put down until I made it to the end. I don't think the combat is very good, but the story and everything else was just awesome.

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (which I think you will like since you enjoyed Fallout3) definitely. Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is also a must-have if you like open world RPGs; it's up to par with Oblivion, slightly less hand-holding imho. :) Dragon Age is very good also.

If you enjoy FPS at all, I highly recommend Modern Warfare 1 and 2, either on the xbox360 or PC.

+1 to Mass Effect and Mass effect 2. Also Oblivion is good if you're into the more fantasy type (although for the I recommend the PC version as the mods make it a million times better than the vanilla version).

Mass Effect 1&2 are both good, though if you could only get one, get Mass Effect 2 - Story's not that hard to follow even without knowing much about the first game. Btw, if you do get both, you can get Mass Effect Galaxy for the iPhone, it's sort of a filler between ME1 and ME2. Oh and if you're looking purely for a game with a good story, try Dragon Age Origins, it's not a FPS but it's a great RPG made by the people who made ME.`

As a general rule of thumb, all Bioware games usually have great stories.
