Beginning Halloween, Parallel Kingdom will be having a huge in-game contest called the Great Scroll Hunt. Here's the details: On October 31st, rare scrolls will begin appearing randomly as rewards for killing monsters. The higher the level monster vanquished, the higher the chance of receiving a scroll. When a player finds a scroll, their character will begin glowing and other players will be able to see that they are one of the lucky few. So what do they do with the scroll? When four players each find their own scroll, they need to find each other and meet up in the game. Once they decide on a location, and they all get together, they will be able to build a one-of-a-kind building called the Great Library. A few days after the Great Library begins construction, the game servers will go down and when they come back up, the new Age of Parallel Kingdom will be available in the App Store. In the new version, Parallel Kingdom - Age of Emergence, the Great Library will be permanently located wherever the four founders built it and it will exist there forever. Also, all players will be able to go inside the Great Library and see the names of the four founders. To those of you who have already posted and those who may still find this thread.... The Hunt is ON! The servers are updated and back up and running. Monsters are getting slayed by the thousands!
Grrr I give up, I have no roc feathers and I can't move cause I'm on wifi, there are no trees, no enemies etc, it's just bull, dumb game wish I never downloaded it, no offence to the dev, at first it was cool but now I am just extremely fed up with the real time stuff and the limited area, I was looking forward to this contest......
No offense taken, everybody's experience is a little different. Sorry to hear you're stranded though. Those Roc Feathers can really suck if you run out of 'em. My only suggestion is that you could go onto Global Chat and ask nicely for some kind soul to visit you and bring you some Feathers. Might be more successful if you have gold to offer them. However, with the Scroll Hunt on, all the regular norms of civility might have gone out the window. In any case, best of luck, and if the current version has lost it's flavor for you, the next version (coming in roughly 2 weeks) will definitely keep your interest and enthusiasm much longer.
Just wanted to post a quick update. The 2nd scroll was just found so the clock is ticking. As soon as two more are found, the Great Library *could* be built. It's not too late to get in on the fun!
